Which characters from Buffyverse do you find attractive

Guys: Spike, Oz, Lindsey, Wes (Angel season 2 and up) and Angelus.

Girls: Faith, Buffy, Cordy, Darla and Drusilla.

Guys: Xander, Giles, later seasons Wesley, Gunn.

Girls: Cordelia, Buffy, Willow, and S7 Dawn.

I find this topic quite interesting. The way males and females have approached it is very different. About 61% of the gals referenced both sexes in their posts, whereas 73% of the guys only talked about women. Surprisingly to me though (especially here), only one girl did the same, and no guys have only referenced other guys.

I'm not trying to start anything, or say people aren't open-minded, yadda yadda yadda - y'all watched Buffy. That's good enough for me. But it's just interesting to see the divide, and it makes me wonder whether that's the way people actually feel, whether they simply haven't thought about the other options, or whether it's society imposing its norms on how the sexes should present themselves.

I'll go away and put the calculator down now. It was gathering some nice dust there till I disturbed it!

Oh, and I didn't count the cheese man. :silly:

9.) Jenny
10.) Gwen

I think the word "attractive" solicits that type of response. If the question is simply which characters are good looking, the simple answer is all of them. Joss said he pretty much only hires good looking actors.

Exactly.
Buffyverse Fan got it in one, but after Lindseys post:
In addition to Fred and Willow, as far as guys go, Oz cos he plays guitar and red heads are hot, Spike, Wes and Giles because who doesn't love an English accent and Wes and Giles are bookish too. 😉

Happy Lindsey?

For me it's just that I don't go around thinking "oh, he looks good" or "he's hot" about male characters/actors well men in general. But at the same time I don't see myself as someone who can't admit that another guy is goodlooking. But the thing about "attraction" is that to me it's so much more than looks. So it kind of depends on what you mean by attractive. Simple good looking or someone one is attracted to? But here goes, just for the fun of it. Goodlooking wise not how attractive I think they are.

Giles: Nothing special in the first season but got more and more the "old guy"charm and charisma as it went on.

Angel: The most "classis" goodlooking guy in my opinion. "Sexier" as Angelus though.

Xander: With the right "grooming" he can look kind of hot but in general I don't see anything "special" with him or NB (so it's not only because of his character).

Spike: I don't think JM is that goodlooking in general but he sure got that "thing" that is so more important when it comes to being attractive.

Oz: Not the best looking guy of the bunch (don't mean bad looking) but I want to be Oz. Enough said.

Riley: Got a "boring" character but when it comes to looks I'd say he's more than ok and got some boyish charm.

Wesley: Too goofy at first to even get on the attractive scale for me but in the later seasons of Angel he sure got things going for him.

Gunn: A handsome man. Simple as that.

Lorne: I'd say charm more than looks but to me charm is always more important.

Connor: When he first got onto the show he looked like a kid so no thoughts thank you. In his last appearences though he looked more than ok.

Lindsey: Kind of the same as JM.

I understand what you're saying, but if you were to take that view from the other side it would imply that 61% of the women on here were bi-sexual, and attracted to women. Now, I'm no psychologist, but that's probably not the case. They'd be no more "attracted" to the girls they mentioned than you are to the guys. The point I was really making was how the girls approached the question very differently - they didn't seem to interpret the word "attractive" in the same way.

I'm sure most of the girls would agree with this (of course, so long as you invert the sexes!):

and yet they still answered the way they did. I'm not trying to call anyone out, but you can't deny that the girls answered the question in a totally different way. It's just interesting to me, is all.

Aww.. don't go crashing my hopes. The more bi women, the better. 😀

Besides, from my experience talking to women online, that's not such an unrealistic figure anyway. "Hardcore hetero" women who don't feel erotically attracted to women at all make up only about half of those I've talked to online. (And, of course, they make up less then 10% of women I, um, get involved with - but that's another story.) With Buffy dealing with girl power and lesbian love, I would be very surprised if there were fewer open-minded women around BB than on a generic chatsite.

spike, angel, lindsey, wesley in the later seasons, riley, doyle was alright, xander and gunn sometimes

Hmmm....I often find myself attracted to both male and female characters, so....

Guys:
Welsey & Giles (LOVE the accent!!!)
Xander, early seasons. He got too bulky in later seasons
Oz, 'cause rockers are hot
Doyle, charming & Irish. Can't go wrong.
Lindsey. Especially is season 5. With the tattoos, so hot!
Knox, cute and charming, yet evil. Interesting.
Andrew. I have a thing for geeks.

Girls
Tara, she was beautiful
Fred, The geek thing, and she was beautiful too.
Anya, of course. With her ignorant charm.
Willow, season 6, very pretty

Xander for me and Angel as well. I don't like Riley with his 'curtain' style haircut in season four but he is quite cute afterwards and I have a bit of a thing for Warren :O Oh and also Willow. One of the few women I do fancy 😛

I feel like quite the dirty old man for saying so, but Faith/Eliza Dushku always seemed to do it for me. Still does, in fact.
