What dead or MIA character should return next?

So, Oz & Riley have made appearances, and Joss has taken advantage of DH reacquiring Angel Investigations from IDW, but who hasn't made the cut yet that should?

Anya? Doyle? Joyce?

I doubt that they'd bring back Doyle, given that the actor died and that they retired Lorne after Andy Hallett died, so that's unlikely.

Honestly, I can't really think of who they should bring back, if anyone - there are already enough characters being used and we don't need the stories to be any more unfocused.

JONATHAN!

But honestly, they should just stop with the comics, or declare them NOT official. I stopped following the comics and counting them once Angel was revealed as Twilight and especially after he killed Giles.

The only one I really want to see back is Cordy. They should NOT bring back Doyle or Lorne, out of respect for the actors.

I'd rather see a MIA character return than have another character brought back to life. And, I would rather it be a small appearance rather than adding someone else to the mix. (Like Mischlings said, we do have a lot of unused characters currently.)

Maybe Hank could make contact with Dawn and Buffy or something small like that. Or Sunday (don't remember if she get dusted?) could be interesting. Gunn is always a fun character to see.

It would be neat to see Connor crossover to the Buffy title for a couple issues.

Ooh, if we're speaking about MIA characters, let's talk about the IDW original characters that we may never see after the DH takeover (yes, I'm kind of bitter about that)- specifically Eddie Hope and Betta George, both of whom I adore. And what about Groo and [the dragon] Cordy?

I'd like to hear what's happening with Oz- what happened to their place in Tibet after the huge battle? Did his wife survive her injuries? And I would like more Riley, too.

This is such a hard decision, but definitely no more ressurections. I'm surprised that some of you guys would stop following the comics just because the dynamics changed slightly. Sure Giles is dead, but if he hadn't died we wouldn't have seen the interesting pair up of Angel and Faith and learn a little about Giles' past as well. Speaking of Giles, I would love to see a DH mini series about Giles in his Ripper days, and what it was like before and after becoming a Watcher.

Marcie Ross, the invisible secret agent from "Out of Mind, Out of Sight". Throw in an invisible government agent with an unknown agenda and you can stir the pot for a whole season.

I'm still holding out for them to bring back Tara, no matter how impossible or unlikely the idea may be

As much as I would like to see it too, I don't think they ever will. They had a chance to make Tara Willow's guide in season 8 and Willow passed it up.
