Which Food Do You Dislike, Yet You Find All Your Friends Liking It?

I don't really do anything green, spinach I can do, leeks but only if in a cream sauce and really soft. no tomatoes, no mince (ground beef etc) nothing spicy, don't do things like Italian meats, don't do strong cheeses, and not fond of any cheese really, olives, kebabs, sushi there's a lot of things I don't like!

😱
But...but...but...cheese & chocolate! Yumz! 😛
For me it's pumpkin. October thru January it's pumpkin spiced everything. Like seriously?!

I get really sick from cheese actually, it's a pretty good deterrent... 🙂 Dark chocolate is pretty yumz though, like 80% cacao.

I'm super curious what pumpkin spice taste likes, not really a thing here. I have a feeling I wouldn't like it. I love pumpkin seeds, but can't stand pumpkin pie.

Mayo, coleslaw, tomatoes (though I do like pretty much all tomato-based food, just not the actual fruit, lol), cream, cheesecake.

I'm the same with tomatoes. I think it's the strange texture! And that actual tomatoes taste kinda bitter to me.

I really can't think of anything I can't eat, other than very spicy food. I'm obsessed with Indian desserts recently though, so I tend to eat a lot of curries.
I was a very fussy eater as a child, I wouldn't eat tuna or beans at all yet they're both a favourite now. Not together...

Korean BBQ

So your telling me i pay money at a restaurant, but i'm cooking my own food, in tiny portions, on a hub cap (with non stick spray not provided) with a flame under it....cheque please.

Like Lyri & Bluebird, I pretty much ♥ anything that's tomato based, but don't care for whole or big chunks of tomatoes. Go figure.

Coconut water (not coconut milk). It's gross.

Agreeeed! I worked at a yoga studio before and people were mad for that stuff, on the brink of violence if we ran out... Namaste my hiney 😉
It tastes horrible if you ask me.

Not having any teeth I don't eat meat red meat that is, some people get really angry when I embellish the reasons why I don't eat meat. Then when they are just about to explode I happen to mention I don't have any teeth.
Restaurants are my favourite though, saying in a loud voice I don't want blood in my red meat as I'm not a vampire. Thirty years ago it was said to be harmful not to cook the food properly, anyone remember 'Mad Cows Disease' cos I do. I still can't donate blood because of it.

This is a pet hate of my girlfriend and it's starting to bug me as well. She's just not keen on meat. She has some types of meat occasionally but that's it. Yet so many people feel the need to make a big deal out of it. She makes bolognaise for me and uses Quorn mince. Not a problem for me, tastes nice. Yet people will constantly say they feel sorry for me because I should be having meat at all times. Such an odd mindset people have.

The drawback of a mostly-vegetable diet is that you need to take vitamin b12 supplements regularly. You also need a main protein source that is neither peas/soy product (aflatoxin risk, oxidized unsaturated fat risk) nor mushroom (heavy metal risk). Relying on wheat protein is not a good idea either. That leaves only the milk product. So if you happen to be casein/lactose intolerant, or dislike cheese, it's better that you have meat at all times...

Some folk might need to take a supplement, but only if the body needs it. Sweeping generalisations don't work either, I had some stomach problems about eight years ago caused by Cheese. I was told to take hi-fibre foods so I did and it made matters worse.
So basically just because a food is right for 99% of the population it needn't be right for everyone.

I don't eat, and wouldn't buy for my kids food that is blue. Not like blueberries, but sky blue. Totally turns me off. I don't even like eating food on a blue plate. To me it becomes totally unappetizing.

When my kids were little and the Spiderman movie came out they wanted me to buy them Spiderman poptarts. They were sure I would cave because I have been in love with Spiderman my entire life, but the pop tarts had blue icing with red spider webs on then and it was totally a no go with me.

I eat less and less meat as time goes by. Have pretty much lost all taste for pork and chicken. I never liked salmon even though I like most fish and seafood.

Eating meat doesn't mean you get enough b12 since it's about absorption, so if you have an insufficient diet - even if it includes meat - it doesn't mean you're on the safe side. Besides meat doesn't naturally contain it either (animals are fed it), at least not enough, so either way you get your supplement... just depends on where from you want to get it. 🙂

I'll also skip on the ice-cream, anyone is free to my share!

I'm scots/irish (IE: far northern hemisphere ancestry). So can eat dairy till the cows come home. *couldn't resist* Oh and dibs on Taake's ice cream! 😛
