Well, I am going to have to say New Jersey. It is a freaking wreck here. I have never been to Texas, but from what I've seen it looks pretty cool.

Hit the wrong button.. was going to say 'I know! it's alot better in person" same with Utah... Bryce Canyon.. ON MY LORD at sunset, with the red walls, it looks like the earth is afire. Texas has so many wonderful things to it..

You forgot to mention the Texas legislature.

If you need to bone up, I recommend any of the late Molly Ivins' books-wherein you'll find out just how screwed up the Lege is.
 
If we're talking governmental corruption...Illinois is obviously pretty high on that list....Louisiana...

You can't beat a state with a corrupt governor! I hate the state of Illinois, and I live there!

I hate the snow. I hate the cold. I hate the heat. I hate the highly corrupt government. I hate the fact that it's basically a Democrat state. I hate that the Chicago Bears suck year after year after year. The list could go on and on!

I don't really hate any specific state but the ones that I don't hear great things about...or anything at all like Kentucky or Nebraska. They kind of suck I guess. =P

But that's such a cool name. It has a Y next to a W, that looks funky and pretty... and it ends in "-ing", which ain't too bad either.

And you pronounce it like it's written, unlike Arkansas.
