Which Buffy season is your favourite?
Mine is season 6 but soon may be season 7 and i've only seen 5 episodes of it so far!😀

I agree with you GG!!! Season 6 was just great because of them episodes, other episodes what made Season 6 so good was Older And Far Away and Grave! It is my favourite, but Season7 could be soon!!!

I agree - they were both good episodes even if Tabula Rasa was a little on the syrupy side. In fact the first few episodes before OMWF were all reasonably good however with Smashed the series took a total nosedive and never recovered. Older and Far Away has to be the worst Buffy episode of all time, followed closely by As You Were. Awful stories, dire acting. The finale was entirely uninteresting - it should have had me on the edge of my seat but instead I was just wishing it would be over. There were some bright spots - the geeks, Clem and Normal Again was another passable episode - but the bad outweighed the good by far. The sad thing is that seasons 5 and 6 were devoid of the subtlety and originality that made the series so good in the first place. 5 and 6 were deep into soap opera territority and that's not a good place to be...
Season 7 has been hit and miss so far but at least I can actually stomach it.

yes, ihave seen all season 6 and it was brilliant! especially wrecked, as u were, normal again and teh Evil Willow trilogy eps!
But season 7 looks ssooooooooooooooooooooo much better!

The whole of Season 6 I loved!!!
Older And Far Away is one of the best episodes of Season 6 and of Buffy history!!!
Grave the season finale I thought was amazing, best season finale out of all 6!!!
Season 5 was as good as Season 6!!!

Okay then let me ask you (and anyone else) this: in what order did you view the seasons? I started watching at the very beginning and watching the episodes in chronological order the decline in quality is obvious.

Why do you like it? There's nothing special about it in any department: nothing original, no memorable dialogue etc.

I was totally unmoved by Grave in all departments. What was so good about it?

I seem to remember you (or someone else) posting the exact same thing last time I wrote something negative (many months ago since Buffy/Angel haven't been on). I am a fan. I have all the videos up to the end of Season 4, half of season 5 and all of Angel. Plus I've just started collecting the DVDs. The reason I'm still watching Buffy even though it has gone downhill is that I am a fan - if I wasn't I'd have given up long ago. There's always hope that one week there will be a good episode and that's what keeps me watching. Sadly that philosophy didn't pay off with season 6...

Season 1, 2 and 3 were all exceptionally good and season 4 wasn't half bad either. Of season 5 the only real episodes of any worth were Fool For Love, The Body and The Gift. As I said before, I didn't mind the first few episodes of season 6 and of course Tabula Rasa and OMWF were both good however the rest was absolute garbage. Season 7 has been light, throwaway entertainment so far - not the intriguing, complex Buffy of the good old days.

Season 6 and other seasons
Personally i enjoyed season six.
I began to watch buffy in season 1, but i slowely stopped for some reason. when i was younger, i didnt watch much tv (as now). I saw a few episodes of season 2, 3 and 4 over the years, probly when i couldnt sleep (coz in australia it is on pretty late). I saw adds for that buffy vs. dracula episode and wanted to watch it but i 4got. well a few epsidodes b4 the season 5 finale, i went to my friends house and he had downloaded the season final of season 5 and i watched it. it was really good and i was surprised of how much buffy had changed and i just saw her die. my friend explained that it wasnt the end of buffy though. he is a massive fan. (then i saw the final episode on tv a few weeks l8er)
then several months l8er, i went to his house again, and he had downloaded the first 10 episodes of season 6, and he made me watch 'OMWF' and i was shocked. i loved it but i was surpried how different the show had gotten.
then several weeks l8er, i noticed in the tv guide that season 6 was starting and so i watched every episode of the season and taped it without adds.
then i as i bacame a huge fan, my mum bought me season 3 and i bough season 1, then my mother and uncle got me season 2.
my friend dowloaded the first 5 episodes of season 7 and i borrowed them and loved them. well he lossed the 3rd epsisode, so i asked my other friend to download it. ive watched them on tv aswell and taped them and now its up to epsisode 6 in this season (well in australia it is) and i can't wait. well my friend has downloaded the rest of the episodes that have been on american tv, and he is waiting 4 the last 6 episodes, but im gonna watch them on tv, it feels better seen them on tv.
i cant belive i just started liking buffy again, and its about to end. im gonna buy the rest of the dvds soon coz sesasons 4 and 5 have been out for a while, and season 6 is out on dvd on may the 14th or 21st (cant remember which)
oooohh and b4 i 4get, i remember when buffy first started, my dad was watching it and he told me that it was good, so i watched it and liked it, then the nxt few episodes i watched it woth my best friend next door, until we both stopped, and then it went on really late.
