Which of the X-mens powers would you like to have?

I have recebtly gained a real interest in X men, I'm playing the games, reading the comics and watching the cartoons (both X men and X men evolution, also in one epsidode of spiderman) and the two films.

At first I thought I would love to have the powers Rogue or Colossus but then I realised Rogue's powers is good in theory but to never experience human touch again would be horrid and Colossuses powers are only good for one thing really.

So I have decided I would love to be Jean Grey, I mean she is (in my opinion) the most powerful and has the best power. I just love the telekinetic powers and her telepathic abilities means she can defeat some of the strongest people ever, I mean she is the only actual, full time X-man who can defeat Juggernaut (if he has no helmet) because his only weakness is the mind.

I did toy with Xavier but he isn't really an X-man and his powers need such constant control, i mean his dreams can literally kill, although Jean Grey has to keep a certain amount of control over her powers to stop her becoming the dreaded Phoenix but still as long as she doesn't go overusing her gifts shes ok.

So which X man would you be and why?

I've always thought that Wolverine was cool. He's the badass of the X-men.

For powers, I guess I wanted Jean's power as well. The telekinetic and telepathic powers are cool. Go around making people do whatever you want 'em to do.
Although, that guy who controls fire is awesome.

Hmm, I thought about both Jean Grey and Wolverine seriously, but I can't remember if there's any evidence that Wolverine's healing keeps him from aging as well. I don't know. If there's even a chance of immortality there, I don't want it. I'd get so bored and angsty! Nope, I'd want to be Storm. Snow Days in spring semester, rain out the concert that took place RIGHT outisde my window...sunny days when I want a tan...And she seems to have the most control, along with Jean. Rogue and Cyclops have no control whatsoever without using technology of some sort (visor, clothing). That would be so awful!

I'd wan Iceman's powers the ice schoots look way more fun than flying and the super powers have every day life uses. Like I would totaly be the guy to have at a party. Not a warm drink in the house. 😛

I think his name is pyro and his power is pretty cool, but not really useful for everyday life i mean with jean grey you can be lazy, storm you cna have snow days, wolverine you are never sick etc. Although if you where a firemen this powerwould be extremely useful

If I get to be as cool as the comicbook version I'd definetley go for Jean Grey, but I wouldn't want to be her if I had to be the Famke version. I love the character, but she's so boring in the movies. Doesn't matter she got all flamy in no. 2.

Jean says in the movie that his mutant power slows his aging and that he might be older than Xavier. No evidence of immortality, just really long-lived.

I think I'd like to be Wolverine. Be real easy to open things in the kitchen. :happy07:

Yeah, Wolverine's healing factor slows his ageing, but doesn't stop it. In the comic, he looks like he's in his early forties, but he's well over a hundred, probably born in the late 1800's. I dunno, I quite fancy hanging on to my youthful fabulousness for a while. 😀

To that end, I always kinda wanted Mystique's power. She looks exactly like she wants to. She can sneak into the best clubs unharrassed. And, most importantly, she can wander around naked and nobody ever has the nerve to comment.

I've always been kind of partial to Storm's abilities. Possessing the power to manipulate the elements would certainly have it's uses.

And if I were ever in a mischevious frame of mind, I'd find some mean and bitchy society girls who've spent a small fortune on their hair and makeup, and mess up their expensive hairdos with a sudden gust of heavy wind. Whooosh! Instant fright wigs! Yes...that would be cool.....

Hm, because of my death paranoia and stuff I'd have to say Wolverine. That would probably make me a lot less worried (but then again, I'd probably find a way to keep myself worried anyways, you never know with me).
