Which one gets you more?

Theres been many deaths of loved ones on the show, and one way or another they find out.Some witnessed itand others were told. So what im asking is which way of finding out got to you more.

I myself really cant pick, most of them get to me, but i thinks the ones like were Giles finds Ms. Calender,or Buffy finding her mom, and Tara dying in willows arms get to me pretty bad, they are just so sad, and its on of those things that i hate watching cause its so sad.
 
Yeah Tara's death is the one that upset me the most. I really did not see that one coming. Out of ALL the relationships in the entire history of Buffy/Angel Willow/Tara was by far the best and the most stable, so when she died I wanted to go on the warpath against Warren myself
 
Tara and Cordelia's deaths were the ones that got me the most. Cordelia because she was my favorite character and to have her come back and die in the same episode was corny. Not to mention the fact that her death wasn't even aknowledged. Tara's because she was such a lovable character and to have her die the way she did was really sad. Just when things were going great for her and Willow.
 
as much i love tara, gotta go with joyce. she had a whole, musicless episode dedicated to her death, and those scenes where buffy finds her just get me sobbing. theres that hard and shocking moment right after you think she's okay in that quick imagination of buffy's, and then you are shot back to the cold reality. everyone is emotional, and all the speeches and conversations are so important. though willow and tara were one of the best relationships, and her death was definetely sad, tara's death is still second. joyce's gets me more.
 
See, I have to go with Fred.

It was awful watching her dying throughout the entire episode, and then having to also watch Wesley with her. He has loved her for so long and finally was going to get her, and then he has to be with her as she dies.

And then, in "Shells" when Illyria/Fred shows up at W&H and it's the first time the other people see her, that's a heck of a way to find out your friend is dead and something has taken her over. By meeting the thing itself that killed her face to face.

true! i was just thinking of in buffy, not angel. that flashback/montage at the end of 'shells' is so sad! :(
IMO Fred's death wasn't too bad because 1. I wasn't sure she was really gone (it seemed like her personality was pushing back through at times) and maybe she would have returned had the show continued, and 2. Illyria was cool too and we didn't lose the hot actress that played them.
 
tara's death was the most upsetting for me. i loved her character, and i never saw that coming. and when it happened (the first time is saw that episode) i stood up, frozen in front of the tv unable to move, even after the episode ended and the credits rolled, with tears running down my face. i was so upset i ran up to my room and cried for a long while. even now when i watch the episode on dvd the same effect happens and i end up crying over her death.

cordy's death also had me crying. it's amazing how emotional that simplistic scene was. after all that we-- as the audience-- saw in the episode, angel just gets a phone call that she never woke up. i just got so choked up during that moment. also, anya's death at the end of chosen. that one is hard for me to watch every single time just because she's my favorite character, and i just can't believe that happened.
 
Yeah taras death is the hardest for me to watch, also cause i loved he character, and i loved her with willow, and they were finally happy again, and it makes me cry too.
And how they killed her too is just so....*dont know word for it*
 
I find the deaths that take place on Angel get me more than the one's on Buffy. The one's that get me most are the deaths of Cordy, Fred, and Wesley. Although, Anya's death was really quite depressing, as well.
 
For me to watch, was Buffy finding Joyce. I think that was just so horrible. Then seeing Buffy die, I love her I don't want her to die, lol. That was sad. Spike crying like he was, and Willow crying. It was just sad. Our hero sacrificed herself to save the world and a sister that was only 'made' to be that way. BUT, being married and in love and putting myself in the place of these people I would in real life have the hardest time with Tara's death, if it happened to be my partner. That's just the worst thing. If you are not married you may not get it, but when you find the 'one' you will understand fully. So ya, other than in a real life experience, if we are saying just watching the show...Joyce, Buffy, Tara!
 
Probably Miss Calender's death, or Joyce's.

I was not too pleased with Cordy being written out of "Angel" either and that is quite depressing for me whenever I watch my DVDs. 🙁 (Screw you, Joss.)
