Which season do you think of as the real "Spuffy"?

The episode I think of is Touched, where everyone has turned their backs on Buffy and Spike comes in and gives her that great speech.
Spuffy officially became a 'thing' (a one-sided thing, but a thing no less) in Season 5, starting with Fool For Love.
One could argue the groundwork had been laid in Season 4's 'Who Are You' or even as early as 'Becoming' when Spuffy teamed up to defeat Angelus.
 
S10 of course.

But what I love about BtVS is that you get what you wish for but not what you want.

S8 gave Bangels Bangel, but Angel became a mad god.
S10 gave Spuffies Spuffy, but Spike lost almost all his edges.

Character assassination is a bad thing, but the writers' wish-fulfilling for readers in a vengeance demon sort of way is what I love. Overall I have conflicting feelings.
