Personally, I thought season one was boring. Yeah, the whole building the story part was cool but the stories just sucked compaired to what we have now. They're just so plain and dull. I dunno, maybe it's just me.
 
Season Three is my personal favourite. For me, it had the right mix of comedy, drama and tragedy. There wasn't a single episode that I didn't like and the cast is probably the best it's been through the show's entire run.
 
I had to vote for Season 4, I thought it had the perfect mix between comedy and drama, after that, Buffy just seemed to get a whole lot more depressing to me, so little comedy in seasons 5 & 6 🙁

I loved Season 4 because it introduced Tara and I loved the College setting, although, I did really miss the Library. And Faith.
 
i would have to vote for season 3. I think is by far superior because the gang seemed to break up in season 4 and the school setting was a lot better than the college.

Another reason I liked this series was because cordy really came into her own - i love her.

well this is tricky cause i loved them all
season 1 cause i loved the monster-of-the-week style (even though in the later seasons i too hated the 'monster-of-the-week' filler style episodes)
season 2 because we get to see some of SMG's greatest actign on BtVS and cause of Dru and Miss Edith!
season 3 because of our girl Faith and come on they had a 'giant snake' as the big bad! whats not to love?
season 4, well actually only Tara springs to mind as the thing i loved about that whole season, well that and the fact that Riley got beaten up alot

sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo i guess my vote goes to season 2!
 
Season 2 was definetly takes the cake... based on the list of only picking from four seasons.

Even though I'm not a Buffy/Angel relationship fan, those two had the BEST drama ever! The last half of the season with Angelus tormenting Buff just is exciting.

Plus, Xander is more of a funny guy, gotta love Cordelia's snapiness and Oz's cuteness for Willow.... it's all there.
 
Whenever I have a "Buffy night", the only DVD I ever want to watch in its entirety is Season 3. It is by far the most consistent of the seasons, having a greater proportion of good episodes compared to the rest. Add in Faith and the Mayor and you have the best season of the 6 so far. I haven't seen 7, but hear that it's one of the best. 🙂
 
Each season has it's own great thing about it. Sesaon 1 was all "well this is new and a good TV show", Season 2 was great - especially the last half of it after Bad Eggs onwards. Season 3 was just fantastic cause all the cast was there that we love and our other facourite slayer Faith, Season 4 cause of the whole college deal, Season 5 cause of the darkness of it and Buffy dying (not that it's a good thing), Season 6 cause it's just wierd and Season 7 cause it's likely to be the last one and it's going back to the original fun of what it's about. I could only really choose out of episodes in each season. I haven't really got a favourite season but I have got ones that are better than others.
 
I think my favorite season would have to be season three!
1) the introduction of the best Buffy character EVER! ANYA!!!!!!!!!!
2) The Prom is one of my favorite episodes, it makes me cry everytime she gets her award for Class Protector.
3) I love the Mayor! He's such a funny guy, even though he is trying to kill everyone and take over the world, but he's really really funny.
4) Faith. I didn't like her at first, but now I'm a huge fan.

Well, that's about it. I love the other seasons as well, but this has to be my favorite.

Season 2 is by far my favorite of the first four. Angelus is so evil he makes the show for those episodes he is in and he made the season at the same time. The greatness of this season can be seen in the look on Buffy's face after Angel is sucked into Hell. No better acting in the history of this show then that one moment.
 
I love season 2. The Angel Buffy love story takes such a tragic twist and David Boreanaz plays such an excellent and psychotic vampire.
 
Season 2. With Angelus and Spike And Dru. Buffys hardship with Angel/Angelus was really drama. That is what I look for in the show. But season 3 had my gril Faith. And plus the whole mayor deal , I mean I didn't expect he would turn out evil.

Faith:No maybe you don't get it I don't care.
 
you gota' love season 3! it has some of the best Buffy epis and it introduces Faith! and the introduction of Anya!
 
I love season 3 the best! You had the best people for the scooby gang - Buffy, Willow, Xander, Oz, Giles, Angel and Cordy, it introduced Faith and Anya, some of the best episodes and it had "Graduation Day" parts 1 & 2 which are classics!

it prob would of been S3 but ive only seen bits of S3
n i like S2 cause of the B/A relestionship n the Angelus parts ::drool::
