I voted Season 3. Classic. All the best characters... the show at its peak really... although I have missed a lot of the middle seasons 🙁

Season 2 with the Angelus thing was up there too, but that was just one aspect of it compared to the total goodness of 3.
 
I luv season 2 the most! Its always been my favorite, partly cuz its what hooked me on this show in the first place, the Scoobies all together, the incredible storyline of Angel turning evil, Spike and Dru, and Buffy sending Angel to hell then leaving town, it just rocked

My second fave is season 4, I loved it more than season 3 even because it was just so funny, it had Pangs, Hush, Something Blue, and I loved when they combined their powers so Buffy could beat Adam, plus the Faith episodes and Restless, which had so many clues to future seasons
 
It was actually really hard to pick.

I went with season three because it set up a LOT of what came in later seasons. And it had a bunch of cool stand alone episodes

I really loved season 2 though. I think that might have been my favorite...Spike and Angel in the same place...meow. I am a die hard Buffy and Angel shipper so I love season 2 with all my heart. It's really a tie between 2 and 3 for me.

But I also loved season 1 ( I know, craziness) for all it's goofy individual episodes and introducing us to are favorite characters we have all grown to love.

4 was just...well...Riley.
 
series 3 then 2.
series 3 had the best characters ;] the mayor was a cool villian and faith is a great character. series 4 can never compare. oz leaving... riley and tara wtf ! How can u like Tara?? boring annoying and no role just to screw up willow ;p and make oz leave hehe. damn tara!!!
 
In my opinion, the best season is the fourth. It don't have the awesome angel nor the great episodes like passion, becoming or prophecy girl, the wish (etc) but the new universe that all the group is living in is wonderful. We can see a much more relax Giles and a so funny Spike. Spike is the reason why i prefer the season 4. When he came to giles house begging to enter, it was so funny... This season has some negatives points also ... the initiative thing wasn't that great and i HATED tara. I prefered much more cordelia or even the worse demon that this girl ! She brought only chaos and pain into this season. (Why the gentlemen didn't kill her 🙁 🙁 🙁 )
 
i love season 4.................best to me...spike is the upside of the season...i love him..........i loved willow and buffy in season 4 too...as well as giles...and even xander and anya coming into the group....as well as tara..........all together very good....sometimes the initiative thing was good....but no most of the time.
 
Seasons 2 and 3.
I liked two because of Angel and three cuz of Faith.
 
season 3 cus of the mayor and faith, and graduation day!

Season 3. I loved it. It had Faith. Angels return, The last 3 ep's of the season were great aswell. *nods*
 
Season 3. I can sum up the reason why in one word... FAITH! 😀
Well, that and the fact that Season 3 is IMO the most well-written season with the most compelling storyline.
