Which season of Buffy do you prefer??

I did'nt see the season 7 (but I will get it soon) but I want to know which season of Buffy is your best??
 
Maybe it's a recency error on my behalf, but I loved Season 7. I know there's the whole issue of continuity and stuff, but I thought it was well done and I loved the storyline and the lengthy Buffy rants and Andrew & Anya's well timed humour.
 
I think it has always been Season 3 for me. Especially now since I'm in my senior year of high school too. So it is kinda funny to think about the characters going through the same things.

Although Season 3 is my favorite, it really only contains a few standout episodes for me. While my other favorites are mainly in other seasons.

I think this is due to the fact that Season 3 was the best overall season to me. A good storyline that was well backed-up and not really any craptacular episodes or filler episodes that so many other seasons have.
 
I voted S6, it has the TRIO! And Willow is a really scary Big Bad. And I just love most of the eppys.
 
I voted season 5. It seems to be the most complete season to me. Everything builds nicely to The Gift which, I think, is the best hour of TV drama ever made. Plus it was the first season I saw so that ives it sentimental weight. I do, however, prefer the themes and arcs of seasons 2,3 and 6 but I just think they are let down by some oddly placed, weak episodes. For example, how sensational would the end of season 2 be if Killed By Death and Go Fish were taken out of there. You could go further and take Ted and Bad Eggs out and you have ten of the best episodes of tv in a row. Sorry I'm rambling again...

Definately season Three. I got a huge kick out of the Mayor, he was hilarious as far as big bads go. Gotta love Faith, and Vamp Willow was yummy. Plus bringing Angel and Spike back were two major thumbs up for me. *SIGH* I just love that season. :love22:
 
Wow...no love for Season 1 and 4. I have a special place in my heart for Season 1...even though it's cheesy at times, it's how it all began and that's pretty special to me...especially since the first episode I ever watched was WTTH.

Yep. Whenever I'm rating my seasons I always leave that out coz I can't bring myself to put it at the bottom of the ladder.
Its a close call between Season 2 and 3. Being a bangel fan these 2 seasons had the best episode's for the couple.

Both had excellent season endings and I loved the Angelus storyline in season 2 and the Faith storyline in season 3.

I think season 2 might just be my fave because of episodes like Halloween....which I thought was incredibly funny....and Lie to ME..which was incredibly deep!
 
I prefer the sixth season--- I geuss I like all the depressing stuff and well I'm also a spuffy---- well I geuss i really like angst????
 
I have to go with Season 3. I think that Faith is an excellent character and she carries the season. Faith isn't evil, she's human, she's a complicated character, not just a vamp to dust. The introduction of a human villain, one which has hope for redemption, is what makes this season so great.

I also have to give props to season 6, again, this season deals with some really complicated issues on life and death. Buffy's realtionship with Spike is such a great example. The relationship is complicated. Can Spike truely love anyone, if he doesn't have a soul? The dynamic between Spike and Buffy truely delves into human nature.
 
Without a doubt Season Five for me. It's just so tight, and I love where all the characters are personality-wise. I also love Buffy's exploration of what being a Slayer means in this season.
