Which song do you like better: Disciples - On My Mind vs Luis Fonsi - Despacito?

Here those two songs I'm referring to:

2) Luis Fonsi - Despacito:

Me personally, I prefer the first one 'On My Mind' by Disciples. I understand that the second one might be more popular though but for me, the first one is more underrated.

I luuuuurve old school Britney, definitely one of my guilty pleasures. That, and 90s boy bands. I'd choose any of that over these. 😉

But if I have to choose.... Disciples.

The Justin Bieber video looks so horribly dated. Street party - everybody joins in. Dramatic singing at the beach. Shirt blowing, waves hitting the rocks. It is as if there is a missing Pitbull verse.

A lot of these songs sound like the producer forgot to turn off the metronome in Logic. There is ALWAYS a thumping that keeps the beat in the background. I find it irritating.

So while my formative years were spent listening to either my grandmom's oldies, or the bubblegum pop music of the late 90s, I still don't mind some of the new club music. I do, however, dislike Justin Bieber. So it's automatically the first one. 😛 The song On My Mind isn't that bad either. It's got a nice smooth beat, with light floaty vocals. Kinda forgettable, sure, but if it comes on the radio, I'll jam out to it.
