I used to enjoy all comics, but was more partial to the DC Universe of characters, as they were the very first superheroes I was exposed to as a child, especially the DarkKnight Detective himself....Batman....whom I have cast my vote for.

A secondary choice would be The Green Lantern...who remains an underrated character.

The company behind The Phantom is King Features.

Here's a link to The Phantom on the official KF website: King Features' THE PHANTOM

And here's a small entry on The Phantom from Wilkepedia.org: Phantom

As for who the Green Lantern is, this link should be helpful: GREEN LANTERN

Yep Green Lantern rocks.

I voted for Spiderman though. I just loved him in the comics and the animated show. She had such attitude and was so quippy, but he was still vulnerable and a real person. Supreman and Batman have never been real for me.

I like the X-men as well, and my fave is Gambit. Hee hee! Cajun who blows stuff up! Love it.

ooo i lurve ur banner!
I liked gambit but, excuse my ignorance, whats a cajun, i know its what hes referred to a lot as by other x men, in particular wolverine but i have no idea what it is

'Cajun' is a word used to describe a couple of different things. Some people call everyone from Louisiana a Cajun. Wrong. "Cajun' describes the French colonists (and their descendants) who moved to Louisiana from an area of Canada called Arcadia when France first acquired the territory from the Spanish. They intermarried with the locals and, later African and Carribbean slaves creating a new culture called Cajun or alternatively, Creole culture (although different variations of Creole culture are found throughout the French Carribbean and 'Cajun' is directly linked to Lousiana) The word is also used to describe the cooking, music and other elements of the culture that permeates Lousiana. Right? I think KD might know more about this than me. Correct me if I'm wrong KD.

Ok, now I want crawfish. Sigh.

thanks for clearing that up
I voted for Superman, no real reason other than he was the one I've heard of the most.

You haven't heard of batman, xmen, spiderman or fantastic four they're all BIG films or is it the others you haven't heard of and out of all the ones you know supermans the best?

Blade, Spiderman, Cyclops, and Iceman are my favorites. They're the coolest ones.

See i think angel is cool, he's all dark and mysterious but batman isn't dark, his family was killed and hes seeking revenge, whereas angel killed his family and is seeking atonement which is cool but batman, no coolness there

Of course Batman is cool---he is driven by vengeance but he is incredibly smart and skilled. Like Angel he has a detective's mind which makes him a more effective hero.

But he's a millionaire, he has that skilled mind because he's probably had the best education money can buy

You've definitely never met the rich guys I've dated then. Most rich people I know that are born into it, don't feel the need to educate themselves when they're already set.

Batman leads a double life, he made his fortune to be able to seek revenge for his parents death and he got drawn into helping others in the meantime.

Gone with the X-Men because that was the first comic i read properly growing up. Wolverine is a massive hero of mine and has been since i was a wee nipper!

As far as Marvel or DC, well, has to be Marvel! There was a time when i was buying every single title they were putting out (which cost me the better part of £100 per month) so i think it's fair to say that i would call myself a Marvel fan! lol!

it's actually hyphenated: "Spider-Man". Also, I'd hesitate to call Elektra a super hero.

There was a really funny scene in a Spidey book a few years back (Web i think, could be wrong though) where Spidey catches a kid spraying "Spiderman Sucks" on a wall. After webbing him up and hanging him upside down he starts whining to the kid that nobody ever remembers the hyphen when writing his name, hehe. :hihi:

Elektra's superhero status is debateable i guess, although i'd say she has as much right to the term now as the likes of the Punisher or the numerous other non-powered heroes in comics these days.
