Which villains should have made more appearances?

So as the title states, you have to pick one or more villains you'd have liked to see more on either show. I'll start up with mine.

I probably have said that in previous posts, but god damn, the main villain I wanted to see a LOT more of was 'Ethan Rayne'. I loved his interactions with Buffy & Giles so much. He was funny, smart, witty and just totally liked bringing chaos! Also a damn coward, but that added to his charm haha. There should have been many more episodes related to him and Giles. They could also have brought him back to play a recurring role alongside a big bad. Ugh, missed opportunities.

Next I would go with Mr. Trick. He was a pretty cool vamp(which lacked on both shows), and I thought he was turned into a minor character, sadly. It's hard to debate this part, because I loved the Mayor in s3... But I always thought of some plot involving both Trick & Spike, they would have been a great duo.

Marcus Hamilton on Angel. He should have been introduced much earlier in season 5... Take Eve's(ugh) spot from the start. Also give him some background outside of being just a SPs tool. I liked his interactions with Angel and Adam Baldwin is such a good actor, he was underused I thought.

Another villain I'd have liked to see much more is Lindsey. Now I know you're gonna say he appeared quite a lot compared to most, but it still wasn't enough! He should have been part of season 3 & 4 with Lilah. Gavin was very lame and didn't bring much to the plot... And I'm not even talking about the 'Heads of Special Projects' that kept appearing out of nowhere just to be killed.

Definitely Sweet. From Once More With Feeling, if anyone is confused. 🙂

He was one of the (if not THE only) only demons who was never actually exterminated, and for a great reason. As Joss explained in the commentary, Sweet represented something in all of us, something that couldn't be killed. Also, Sweet had wicked good moves and an awesome voice. 😉

So, yeah, Sweet. He was an amazing villain, he was funny, he was clever, he was a snappy dresser, and he was interesting. It would have been phenomenal to see him again.

Season 6 was about the forces of darkness in all of us that couldn't be killed. That's why it's my favorite season. =]

Marcus Hamilton for sure! Sexy, well dressed, a calm sarcastic way with banter. I would easily watch a show called Hamilton, the Hope Slayer. Haha, no really, I would.

How about the annointed one? Would have loved to see heaps more of him.......... Jokes!

Definitely agree about Ethan Rayne. I'd have loved to have seen more of him in relation to Giles' history and backstory. Though if Ripper had ever materialised...

I agree, more Ethan Rayne would have been cool... But more hardcore. Like I felt the Halloween stunt and the turning Giles into a demon stunt was a bit... hokey. Something else like the whole Eyghon fiasco would have been cool.
 
I too would have loved to see more of Ethan Rayne and Mr. Trick and of course Hamilton. I would have adored more Hamilton 🙂 (Adam Baldwin, yay!)

oh man Would have loved to have seen Marcie again. I agree with Ethan Rayne and the Gentlemen. We definitely needed to see more Sweet! Oh and Glory duh! her minions were just hilarious

Yep, that's it. I find Sweet annoying and although I like Adam Baldwin, Hamilton just bugs me.

If you count Jonathan as a villain I'd like to see more of him. But not as a villain. Makes good sence yes? 😉

Oh and Caleb. If done right. If it had been done the wrong way I'd just fastforward to get it to stop.
 
I loved the creepiness of Caleb in season 7, would of been great to have more scenes with him in, but I'd say Angelus. Even though it'd be a bit overkill (no pun intended (sw)) for him to come back, I just love his character so much I want more.
