I did check but could find a thread on this.

So ignoring the comics for a moment, if you could bring one show back which one would it be?

Angel
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Dollhouse
Firefly

Before watching Firefly I would have said Buffy but thinking about it the show did run for 7 years, it had some really good character development and storylines. The same with Angel, even if the series finale wasnt what I would have liked.

For me it would be Firefly. I'm only up to episode 10 but there are some great storylines and character development that I can see not getting explored. The show has a lot of potential and I think it could have easily ran as long as Angel.
 
IAll of them! They were all fantastic shows in their own way and I want to see more of any of them.

If you're forcing me to play by the rules then Buffy is my favourite, so I would like to see that come back.
 
I'd bring back Angel because the story wasn't done, unlike Buffy. L.A. in hell in S6 would have been awesome to see on tv. 😉

Of course Firefly would also be a good choice. The characters could have had very interesting arcs, and the story was just beginning!

I would've said Dollhouse, but Firefly really is the less discovered story. It had so much potential! Joss kinda wrapped Dollhouse up a little with S2, but Firefly never got that.

So my choice would be Firefly.
 
Angel. It was cancelled at its peak.

I haven't watched Firefly yet, but at least it got a movie.
 
Well, tough call. Normally, I'd say Buffy the Vampire Slayer. It's my favorite show ever and I'd die for a 8th season with the original cast or a movie or something. But then, the show had seven seasons and was actually pretty much completed.
Firefly was just destroyed. I had too much potential for just being canceled. Fortunately, there's Serenity, which kind of gives it the ending it deserves, but still, there are so much more tales to tell.

Firefly, definitely. My first instinct was to go with Buffy, because I miss seeing my Scoobies every week, but dammit, Firefly had endless possibilities. They still had tons of stories to tell, and stories to expand on, like the mysterious Blue Sun Corporation. That could've been the Wolfram and Hart to our Firefly. Such a shame, we'll never know.
 
I'm surprised at how spread out the answers have been. When I first saw the question I assumed everyone was going to say Firefly.

My first instinct was to see more Angel, but in the end I went with Buffy. The way that S5 of Angel went down, I don't think anyone is getting out of that alive except for Angel and Spike, and after that I would think they'd just move over to Sunnydale. I don't know how they'd wrap up Illyria though...

Another season of Buffy, with the original cast, Angel and Spike back as regulars and maybe an odd cameo here and there from Seth Green, would be awesome.
 
I've only watched Buffy, & a couple of seasons of Angel (I'll be rewatching it soon), but I know that I don't want Buffy to come back, & I don't even believe in those comic books I haven't & will never read them, to me Buffy ended on a high note, it has been a perfect show, it explored a lot & I'm pretty satisfied with 7 seasons, 6 would've been too little & 8 would've been too much, so I'm not gonna vote until I watch the other shows 😛
 
I would Looooveee for Buffy to come back. i dont care how old the actors are.. hmmpff ahh well i shall just have to re watch the boxset again.
 
As much as I LOVE BTVS, I had to vote for Firefly. Like [MENTION=10438]JCoatsworth[/MENTION] said, there was just so much potential story there. We got ripped off with Firefly, so that is the one I'd bring back if I could.
 
Firefly, absolutely.

Both Buffy and Angel had good runs and I was pretty much okay with them ending. Would've loved to see more of Dollhouse but it was only an okay show.

Firefly though... it kills me every time to see it end. So much potential wasted.

It was a tough choice for me between Firefly and Dollhouse. While I know that Joss was able to wrap up Dollhouse more than Firefly, I'm more emotionally attached to it. But Firefly was soooo under-developed. There could've been so many directions for the plot and the characters. Serenity sure helped though. But really, the character of Mal himself was so multi-faceted- really all of the characters! So I voted for Firefly.
 
BUFFY AND ANGEL!!!!! joss of course is boss, but Buffy and Angel is to me, his masterpiece. I enjoy Fierfly and Dollhouse but Buffy and Angel are his babies.
 
Dollhouse, because:

1. DB and JM are too old to play immortal vampires, not to mention Angel had a perfect ending.
2. Buffy had run its course by the end of the series, and if the comics are anything to go by then its better off staying finished.
3. Nathan Fillion is on Castle. I like Castle and don't want it do be over.
4. Part of what makes Firefly so epic is that it didn't last long enough ti start sucking.
5. Dollhouse has plenty more characters and stories to tell.
 
Firefly. I just finished the series and I really wish there was more. There's so much stuff that we never got to see unfold (unless it was unfolded in Serenity, I haven't seen it yet).

I would have said Buffy because I love it so, but next to Firefly... At least Buffy had a nice long run, and had the chance to unfold everything there was to unfold.

And I haven't seen Dollhouse yet, so I can't really say if I'd want it to be brought back.
