White Noise 2

We rented White Noise a couple of weeks ago and saw a clip for White Noise 2 and it had Nathan Fillion in it, so we went this weekend to rent it.

I can't say it "gels" well with the first one. In fact, I think it would have made a MUCH better movie not as a sequel and with another name entirely.
But, and this is going to be hard to say because I'm a HUGE Michael Keaton fan (who was in the first one, for those who don't know) and I'm NOT a fan of sequels that go straight to DVD....but I think it was better than the first one!
I know we enjoyed it more, and we didn't hate the first one. And, they actually refer to him as "Captian Tightpants" which was amusing. So, if you're bored...it's good for a renting.

(As an added bonus, through it all he never gets the creepy Caleb hair!)

I laughed so hard I thought I was going to choke. We had to rewind to catch everything else that was said!

I liked it also, but I thought the first one was better. But anything with Nathon in it and I am there! He's so nice to look at and he is so funny.
So yes, good movie, I even bought it I liked it so much, but I didn't like it more than the first.

I don't know, my husband and I have been discussing the movies a lot in the past couple of days.

I liked the first one. I love Michael Keaton and I think based on the NAME, it was a better movie. Mainly because it made sense WITH the name.

The second one, wasn't as good as the first because I don't think it stayed with the premise. Or, at least they stretched it. I guess that's a LOT better than seeing the same movie again with different characters, like most movies seem to do.

Still, I think if it had a different NAME, it would have been a LOT better. Certainly theater worthy and not straight to DVD.

I guess I feel like, in the theme of White Noise....the first was better.
Now, if the second one had a different name and was standing on it's own....I think the 2nd one would have been a better movie. I really think it's just the name that makes it sub-par.

Im watching this now - also laughed at the captain tight pants bit 😛
I rekon it is great, better than the first! I have my dog curled up next to me for the scary bits. Its not finished yet but I think this is one that is going to have to go on the 'to buy' list.

the film sucked as the ending was the same as 'the eye' (original) but i knew it would but i had to see it for Nate and Katee, i did laugh at the 'captain tight pants' line, which was a nice addition.

I think they could have called this something else and released it in theaters. It was not bad for a straight-to-DVD film at all, and it surpassed my expectations. At least it's not like a complete redux of the first film, which is all The Butterfly Effect 2 was. *barf*

If someone wants a movie just for Nathan rent Slither! Quite entertaining...
