Angst alert!

Who are you jealous of?
Could be someone from your life, could be someone from these boards, could be a character on a show (like Buffy lol), could be fictional or not. ANYONE!

Not really anyone, I'm already pretty fly. 😉 I do wish I had Shawn Spencer's (from Psych) awesome memory, Sam Puckett's (from iCarly) strength, and... Frank Abagnale's insane intelligence. Yes, he was a criminal, but he was an INCREDIBLE criminal.

My ex's future girlfriend. I wouldn't want him back and there isn't anyone on the horizon anyway, but I still know I'd be insanely jealous. I'll probably have to deactivate Facebook once he finds someone or I'd just go mad with the stalking.

Other than that, there isn't really anyone except everyone who has a stable job in publishing.

Buffy. She got Angel AND Riley. No fair.

But in all seriousness, no one really. Sure there are qualities (intelligence, sense of humor, kindness etc.) others have that I find admirable and would like to have more of myself but I wouldn't say I am jealous over them.

Chosen Enemy agrees: AND Spike!

True but I just don't find myself jealous of Spike. 😛

Also, I have found myself jealous of certain situations like someone who is going on an amazing vacation to another country or someone who has a kick ass career.

I really kind of love you for your Spike comment!
I agree with Zoe. I'm very jealous of Buffy, she got Spike and I mean, I wouldn't even mind havng Angel and Riley.

But in all seriousness I'm jealous of my best friend...I'll call her Nemilara like I sometimes do on Twitter. Some of you know of her as Emily...or Natalie, it depends. But anyway, some have seen her in videos with me singing. She's got a fantastic voice and she writes songs and plays the piano. And online is the only place where I'm appreciated more than she is, so it seems. You know how you feel when you're shoved to the background and never get to see the limelight because someone is obviously better than you are. I mean, for example we were just on a drama course. Both of us were singing the entire time and nobody ever commented on me. One of her original songs popped up on my iTunes when we were having a dance party and my friend Rachel (who has heard us both sing before) said 'listen to this, it's Natalie singing...she's like, crazy good' or something to that effect.

I don't know, I hate being on the sidelines and always being told I'm just average. I'm one of those people who fish for compliments a lot of the time because...for me...they're hard to come by.

So there, I just poured my heart out. Read it and weep.

I'm jealous of most blokes who find it easy talking with, and chatting up girls, cos I just always get nervous and say something stupid 🙄

I used to be jealous of my former best friend. People liked her and while we all knew she was an insecure little girl on the inside, she had a way of pretending she had this confidence that just radiated out of her. It was hard not to feel it when you were in the room with her. She had the friendship with my other former best friend that I always wished I had, she had a great sister and a great relationship with her sister... her grandmother was rich as hell and gave her all sorts of money. She also had a great job.

And I used to be jealous of my sister. I know what its like to constantly be in the background. She was ALWAYS in front of me. She was better than me at EVERYTHING. And nothing I did was done until Maya tried it and passed me. For example, in 8th grade I took my first high school level end of course exam... and I got an 86. I got a lot of "that's great, I wonder how Maya will do next year"s. It was AWFUL. Then Maya took it and SURPRISE! She got an 87. So I heard "Maya did better than you" and Maya heard "GREAT JOB MAYA!!!!" Even the things I was better than her at were her things... like piano. When we first started, I was better at piano than she was... Way better. Our first recital... I got a way harder song than her. I was on a different level than her on our first competition... and yet I didn't get praise... I got a bunch of "Maya just hasn't gotten the hang of it yet. But when she does, she'll be fantastic." No one even said "great job Zoà«!" And colorguard. I was better than her. She knew it, I knew it, the guard new it, the instructors new it, the band director knew it, my parents knew it... but no one said a word. And then when the instructor decided to smite me for doing piccolo the year we went to the rose bowl, everyone acted like Maya got the better parts and work because she was better than me when they knew GOOD AND WELL that wasn't true. Up until a few months ago, I was insanely jealous of her. She got everything. Twice the recognition for half the work. You know there are more pictures of her from my first birthday party than there are of me? She was a few weeks old and everyone cared more about the newborn than the one year old. But to be honest, I've kind of decided not to care much anymore...

I am jealous of Willow for having Tara while she had her. I'm jealous of Aly becuase she got to make out with Amber Benson 😛

Women. For anatomical reasons, mostly. :sigh:

I promise you, nothing to be jealous of. I jealous men for the same reason.

People who can talk to strangers and people with lots of confidence.

I actually talk to strangers much easier, I picked that up by working with strangers. It doesn't mean I have lots of confidence, but in the past years I improved those skills.

I can just return the "nothing to be jealous of". The danglies are VASTLY overrated.
All the girls in the world who have the whole pacage - nice body + pretty face.

That's the whole package? What's happened to the world. *shakes head*

At times I can be jealous of a lot of different people for different reasons, having money, being smart, having more confidence, better looking, being with someone I want to be with and so on. Manage to get away from it more and more and try to be happy for what I do got. I take a lof of things for granted that loads of people in this world would be very grateful about.

Re:

I can't really say I'm all that jealous of anyone. Looks, popularity, and material things don't really strike me as purpose for envy. However, there's a friend of mine who has 1. the degree, and 2. the job that I've wanted for a long time. Envious? Slightly...But it's something I can get for myself eventually. Mostly, I don't need what other people have...I work hard enough just trying to have what I need.

I'm jealous of everybody that has someone that truly loves them. Man, what I wouldn't give...

You know I used to be jealous of a lot of people and their lives until I realised, why should I be jealous? I was talking about it with my mum last night and I realised how unhappy the people I used to be jealous of really are and how lucky I am.

I'm not in a relationship so I don't have to worry about "my other half" and compromising on everything. I can do what I like when I want, and enjoy my 20's without feeling like I've missed out. In the last 6 years I've done more than I could possibly imagine whilst my friends are worrying about things like bills, mortgages and not doing things without their partners.

Then there are those who have lots of friends, I used to be jealous of not having that until I realised how many problems come with it. You have arguments and once again trying to compromise between friends to keep them happy. I realised I'm lucky to have friends who are in to the same things that I'm in to and we all know our limits with one another. There's no bitching, fighting or gossiping about one another.

Sometimes you need to look at your life and see the pro's rather than the con's and realise just because your life seems so dull, it doesn't mean your not the only one who thinks it. Others just won't admit and would rather fake up their life to make themselves feel better and that's kind of sad.

Emma Watson.
She is drop-dead gorgeous, intelligent, smart, sporty, effing funny, extremely charismatic, rich, relatively talented, she can wear any haircut AND, on top of that, she seems nice and a great person to hang out with.

Bitch.

( )
