Do you think that Eliza Dusku plays the role of Buffy summers well in the amazing episode who are you and vice versa? was Sarah Michelle gellar a believable rogue slayer or much too soft to be at phsyco standards? If Eliza was cast to play buffy and Sarah cast to play faith as a full time job would you like the show as much?

Who is a better Buffy: Eliza or Sarah?

Who is a better Faith: Sarah or Eliza?

Give all your opinions and don't hold back - everyone is entitled to their own opinion and as I always say don't judge others because they don't share the same opinion as you. This is something that I really want your opinion on and am intrested in. Thanks - Buffyannsummers 🙂

I think that both ladies did an excellent job of portraying each other's characters, Personally, I think that Eliza might have done a slightly better job of playing Buffy than Sarah did playing Faith, but, all in all, I think VERY slightly. I've always wondered if Sarah had fun playing the Slayer Gone Wild for once. I know, Buffy isn't a shy little wallflower, but, compared to Faith, she's pretty reserved most of the time.

I especially loved Sarah's scene with Spike, and the "pop like warm champagne" speech was priceless. Also, it's the inspiration for one of my favorite pieces of fan fiction.

And you don't have to be a Spuffy shipper to appreciate it. (A warning, though. It's "R" rated, for some of the language, so you younger fans, don't read it until you're older,)

I think Eliza Duska pulls off a better Buffy-in-Faith. I sometimes get so aggravated by the character of Faith that it makes me dislike Eliza. Then when I get to see her step outside that role I realize she is an awesome actress. I think SMG got the easier role of playing Faith while being psychotic.

They both do great. Eliza does better, IMO.

I haven't seen that episode in a while but I remember thinking how Sarah did really good as Faith. Sarah and Eliza were basically imitating each other. I remember how Sarah got whole little half shurg thing Faith does and the way she talks down pretty good. Eliza did good too especially in the scene when she was trying to convince Giles it was her, but I think Sarah did just a little better.

Anyone who knows me should know what my answer is. Both amaze me at it, but I prefer Eliza's performance slightly. I can't put my finger on what it is, or even if there is a good reason why (it could just be the fact that I like Eliza a bit more).

What I find weird is that, according to a panel Eliza did, she and Sarah never talked about how they should portray each other - they just spent a lot of time watching film of each other and came up with the way to play each other from that. She said that it led to a few weirs things in the performances that they probably wouldn't have done if they prepared differently, which leaves me wondering why they were (other than the one she mentioned, which was Sarah sounding a bit Canadian).
