Well, she just grates on my nerves, a lot. There's very few scenes that I like her in (I love her in "Band Candy" of course, but that doesn't count as she's high on mojo choccie 😉 ). I especially scream "Bitca!" at the screen during Becoming-Anne-DMP... messing up a sitch herself, and then blaming everyone but herself for it = bad. Didn't mind her dying in "The Body", at all.

(I know I'm very hard on her, and I freely admit my own issues with my mum have a lot to do with that. Still, it doesn't change my HUGE dislike for the character.)
 
Ah, Becoming - Anne - DMP. That's one example where her behaviour is just erratic and charicatural (sp?). It's, I guess, what IM said. She's just bam! angry, bam! depressed, bam! happy, bam! ITS ALL BUFFY'S FAULT!, bam! Oh, now it's Giles's fault (might have been the other way round, but anyway, you get the point. I hope)
 
Yeah, I don't like her in those episodes either, especially when she tries to blame Giles for Buffy running away even though she's the one who told Buffy not to come back. Accept some responsibility, Joyce! She's a lot better in later episodes though.

Riley, Connor, Kennedy. I know everyone's going to yell at me for this (ducks heavy objects), but Buffy. As a show, it was good, but the CHARACTER. Sometimes the things that she did were so infuriating and the way she treated her friends was just downright annoying. Riley because he was an interesting character for a while but was annoying as s**t when his plotline was used up. Connor because he kept Cordelia and Angel apart and the whole Connor/Cordelia thing was just disgusting. Kennedy because she wasn't Tara and seduced Willow away from the memory of Tara, which was just insulting.

Oh! And Spike after season 2... it was just creepy the way he stalked Buffy, it was like the way that Angel had stalked her. Although I did like the Dawn and Spike relationship very much.

I agree with what u said about buffy she was kool but after a while....
And also spike when he went buffy crazy was anoying.
But i remember reading a inviterview and James masters said he loved being in angel as it brought back a bit of the old spike.
and yes connor and cordy stuff was gross!!!! writer was horny or pissed when he wrote that... lOL

I really don't think you'll need to duck. Even if I don't think that many people outright hate Buffy (the character), there are suprisingly many (myself definitely included) who like her least of the Core Four. She certainly had some annoying facets to her personality.
