Can't be Giles, he's on the cover of #40. And someone earlier in the thread said that Scott Allie was talking about more Giles/Faith interaction in season 9.

All the Scoobies like Riley, I think it'll be Riley. Or Andrew, just as he's really become a part of "the family" as Buffy told him. That'd be a typical Joss move.

I voted Riley because that's what I'm kind of hoping for, I don't want to him in season 9. The comics has wasted enough space on him already.

If Kennedy dies and Willow goes dark because of that, that would be the worst thing IMO, I hate Kennedy and if Willow reacts like that over her dying that would totally cheapen what happened when Tara died by saying that Willow is just as upset about Kennedy as she was about Tara.

Kennedy is just Faith light; if she's the one who bites it I wouldn't be surprised because that way they could take out a "member" of the gang without killing off anyone liked by fans.

I'm hesitant to guess since it seems like they're putting out so many red herrings.

I'll say Giles; I know how unlikely that seems with what we've been told, but his death is the only one I feel would make out best for the story. He's core scooby gang; and all three main characters would be in turmoil over it.

Feel free to toss plot bunnies my way now; just don't let Anya see.
