Who do you think was the worst villain?

I think that Jasmine was the worst villain. I don't know if she's classified as a Big Bad, but I hated the whole arc. It could have been written so much better than it was.
On Buffy, Adam was the worst villain. IMO. I just wasn't feeling the demon/man/cyborg vibe.
This is the best Joss could come up with? Really?
 
I'm going to have to go for Adam. He was my least favourite out of all the Big Bads in Buffy or Angel, I just didn't really see a point to him being there. I never liked him, maybe that's the reason I think he's the 'worst', he's also the reason I didn't like season four too much. I just dislike Adam - The Master, Angelus, The Mayor, Glory, The Trio and The First all helped with character development and plotlines, but I don't think Adam did very much at all.
 
BtVS: Warren, Maggie Walsh as humans who show the ugly side of human beings. AtS: kind of weekly bad guys: the kid without a soul and Billy, the one who brings out the worst side of any human being.

The Big Bad in S4 was the Initiative, the bad use of the technology, not Adam or Maggie Walsh.

Billy didn't affect all humans. He brought out an intense misogyny in men.
Worst means they're the lamest and most boring? Or they're very very evil that you hate them very much? 😀 Anyway, here's my answers.

I forgot how much everyone hates Adam. I like him. Initiative=good arc.
Lamest- Dark Willow. I just cant get over how ridiculous this character is. I just hate to see her flying and zapping people, it looked so cringeworthy. And she takes and axe in the back and stands straight back up? Such a silly character.

Evil as in lame: Jasmine. It isn't really her being boring, but the whole storyline got really boring. That's why I didn't really like the end of season four.
 
Yes, we will need clarification, worst as in 'the most evil' or worst as in 'boring/bad TV.'

The worst as in not fun to watch was probably... I guess shockingly now that I think about it 'The First'. The whole concept of fighting... well the very concept of evil itself was always very difficult for me to understand. I liked the Turok-Han army, I absolutely loved Caleb but 'The First Evil' itself? I just couldn't grasp it.

What was it's goal anyway really?

The Worst Villain as in the most evil of all was probably The Senior Partners I think. They seemed to be working for some level of pure evil and they had a purpose and goal that was so large scale that no one, not Wes, Fred or anyone else could wrap their brains completely around. That's pretty damn evil.
 
If you mean the worst character in the series, not just the real Big Bad from each individual season, then my vote would have to go to the werewolf hunter from (I think) the second season. He knew that the creatures who he hunted and killed were human except for the three nights of the full moon, knew that he was, essentially, actually killing people, and he didn't care. He didn't do it for sport, for self defense, to protect the community, or even to collect any kind of personal trophy. He did it purely for profit, the single most indefensible motive for taking a life. Even the "gourmets" from Angel's Season 5, who kidnapped Nina, were at least going to eat what they killed.

On BtVS I have to say Warren. He was definitely lame. Even though I hated the Initiative storyline and Adam, you have to admit that Adam was pretty badass when it came to his abilities to fight Buffy. Warren was just a nerd who had a vendetta against all those who had gotten in the way of him getting what he wanted. He reminded me like a spoiled little kid at times, doing whatever he could to get what he wanted. Of course, eventually this corrupted him to the point of murder... But anyway, Warren is my pick on BtVS.

On Angel, the lamest had to be Jasmine. OMG... That was the stupidest, most annoying storyline ever.

Yep to Warren.
Lamest? The Geek Trio, if you really want to count them as Big Bads. (Dark Willow was really the BB of season 6). Among the real villains, I'd say Adam.

The nastiest villain was Angelus. The most effective was Glory.

In that case, then I agree, the Geek Trio in general, and Andrew specifically. Of course, he's also the lamest "good guy" character in Season 8, as well. I guess it just goes to show that, once a character contracts the lame virus, there's no cure.
 
Adam is my least favorite.
Never found him interesting or funny. But it's just Adam as a character that I think could have been better, the initiative arc as a whole isn't bad.

I know The Master kind of began the series of Big Bads, but I honestly never found him scary or suspenseful. So, in my opinion he was the "lamest". Though, Adam does come in at a close second.
 
The concept of Adam was pretty cool and I kind of liked his character, but he just wasn't too interesting.
Truth be told, though, I think the Master is pretty cheesy. He's a good "first villain" but I couldn't see him being a Big Bad in the later seasons.
 
I've never had a great love for the incarnation Dracula that appeared in Buffy. Completely ridiculous. He looked like he tripped and fell face-first into a bowl of flour....and his mouth was all puffed out with oversized vamp teeth that made it look like the FX team went out and bought him plastic Halloween vamp teeth at the last minute.

With all of those makeup faux pas, no amount of good acting could make you take the character seriously. Dracula simply came off as a hammy and over the top. Perhaps the actor thought playing over the top would somehow supercede the effed up makeup.

Frankly, I would have preferred Miles O'Keefe in that role.

All the Big Bads had some sort of emotional connection to the characters, except for Adam. He was definitely the crappiest.
