Did anybody else love the fact that Willow and Tara's sexual relationship was offscreen? It made it more special and romantic. When they showed Willow and Kennedy having sex in Season 7 it was tacky and repulsive for me

YES!! It was very tastefully done. That's probably why I was a fan of Willow/Tara. Very sweet. 🙂

I found the Willow & Kennedy sex scene very repulsive too. But for me, it was that I absolutely hated the ship.

I've never really been fond of Willow & Tara together *IMO Tara deserved better!* but I at least understood why they were together and it felt like a real relationship.

While I am glad there wasn't a cheap gimmicky "look at the two girls all over each other" aspect to Tillow, I do think that we should've seen more of their sexual side. Not even sex itself but something like that moment when Dawn sees them post-coital in their pajamas in the hallway. You felt the sexual intimacy even without seeing it.

Willow & Kennedy just didn't work on any level. I don't just find any sex scene repulsive. It depends on how it's done. I mean the Buffy & Angel scene in in Innocence was very beautiful & tasteful. I do think that Tara & Willow's relationship was very romantic & I can see how leaving some things private make it more special but if they had shown a love scene once or twice, it still would've been just as romantic to me if it was done right.

I thought the bedroom scene in Once More, With Feeling was a sex scene? It is implied that Willow and Tara did and the levitating and such are sexual metaphors.

They were. Willow was going down on Tara.

I thought so too.

No. I wish their sex life was explored as much as those of other couples. I'd love to see their first kiss, first date, first post-sex snuggles and so on.

I found it sweet and sexy. That's how I usually react when I see pretty people making out.

I think it was done very tastefully. They didn't exploit it, didn't go overboard. And regarding the scene with Kennedy...I mean, the way they handled intimacy between the couples points to the very nature of the relationships: the relationship with Tara was based on deep love and understanding and respect and comfort; the one with Kennedy..ugh, they barely knew each other and it was more on the physical side.

I think there was a good amount of there love for one another on screen for us to know that they where deeply in love.

The only thing I will give the love scene for Willow and Kennedy is that that it gave the statment that Willow will reman gay and they they are not changeing that aspect of the character just because Tara died

I think I'm in the minority, but I actually thought the Willow/Kennedy scene in "Touched" was pretty hot. I still don't like them as a couple, but the way it was shot was pretty sexy to me.

I agree with this. I think we could have seen more, but I'm glad they didn't throw it out there all the time to get ratings or something.

I don't think it was a decision they made to not show that side, They wouldn't have been allowed.

They were on The WB for Season 4 and 5, and had trouble with the Willow/Tara Kiss in The Body, so I don't think they could have shown much of it.

When they moved to UPN for season 6 they were allowed to show more, and if you think about what their actually doing in that scene in Once More with Feeling its more graphic then the Willow/Kennedy scene.
