Who had the hottest relationship?

What was the hottest pairing on either series? Because EVERYONE (or at least...me and @thetopher...) will pick Buffy and Faith, let's say hookups that actually happened.

For me it's probably Buffy and Angel. I've always found Buffy ridiculously hot and there was never a pairing (in my eyes at least) that had the passion of those two. I mean..."Amends"? "Angel"? "Surprise"?" "IWRY"? That said, if Angel and Cordelia had ever hooked up there might have been a chance...

Buffy/Angel was pretty hot in Graduation Day Part 2 (the biting scene...) and 'IWRY', but other than that I always saw them as more sweet/romantic rather than hot. If it hadn't been for that pesky curse though...

Wesley/Lilah: Oh, yeah! Steamy one-night stand hook-ups, snarky one-liners, phone-sex, dressing-up sex...I could go on but I'm getting warm. 😱 This was a sexy, adult relationship about two people who didn't really like or trust each other (at least to begin with) but still want to connect with someone. Volcanic.

Angel/Darla: Mainly because Darla is constantly trying to turn Angel, seduce him, get in his pants. And you can see in 'Dear Boy' how she pretty much almost succeeds. Also, a lot of the Angelus/Darla flashbacks are nice and raunchy. 😀

Spike/Dru: Specifically the whole 'Boxer Rebellion' flashback. I always thought that Spike/Dru was a better combination that Spike/Buffy.

Buffy/Faith: If they'd actually done anything to act on that whole chemistry/double entendre thing...

There are a lot of hot people on Buffy and Angel, so there is plenty to chose from.
Spike is just hot with everyone, but if he and Faith would have had a scene that would have been the hottest thing ever. The basement scene is awesome!

Buffy and Angel. I agree that most of the time they are just a cheesy romantic/dramatic couple but when they get hot, its really hot.

I actually thought Xander and Cordelia were kind of hot the little moments that they had as a couple.

Gwen and Angel in the elevator. That was pretty hot. So many good choices to pick from.

And I agree about Angelus/Angel and Darla.

Buffy/Angel was mostly just sweet and romantic, but their inability to go all out kind of ramped up the sexual tension to a ridiculous degree. I think the dream scene in "Amends" and their scenes in "IWRY" were all the hotter because they were so rare. Sometimes, less is more.

I can't really think of any more canon ships that really had the same effect. For non-canon, a Angel/Buffy/Faith threesome would be off the charts. Of course, Faith makes everything hotter.

Xander and Cordelia on "Buffy" and Wes and Lilah on "Angel."

Buffy and her various lovers, both real and imagined, have been, and will be again, both cussed and DIScussed many times already, so I think that I will make every effort to purposely ignore them in this thread.

Wesley and Lilah - by far and away the hottest couple shown in the 'verse.

I also like all of the fanged 4 in any combination. That definitely includes Spangel. I mean two hot men/demons spending 20 years together. I tend not to believe that they were all the Ozzie and Harriet Mansons with separate bedrooms. Slots and tabs wouldn't be an issue. So much of this is about domination - I kinds doubt Angelus would miss that boat. After all, he is a deviant kinda guy. Sadly this is not actually shown, but it is canon and I have an imagination (and loads of fanfic!)

Also, I thought the hottest moment in the entire verse was when "Fake Angel" and Lilah got it on. It was when that old guy switched bodies with Angel. It was creepy and disturbing considering who was in Angel's body, but just seeing those two really go at it was really hot, especially considering how much they hated each other. But wow, as soon as "Fake Angel" made the first move on Lilah she went all in and passionate like without hesitation! Here's to that kind of secret love/HATE type thing!

Just to be clear, the abuse is NOT sexy, what happened in s6 is NOT sexy, violent degrading sex is NOT sexy, this is not what I mean by it. What I mean by it is just that they both look good half naked and going at it. Yes, this is a purely shallow answer (and no I do not endorse what happened between them in s6).

Vamp Willow/Vamp Xander (the Wish), now now, Xander has never looked this sexy.
