I'm hoping to go out tomorrow and buy or rent some more games.

Any suggestions, here's some stuff of what i have on GB to help with suggestions: Pokemon, Harry Potter - COS and POA, American Idol and Sims:Bust' Out, those are what I can remember right now. I'm thinking about that one called Project:Gotham.

I have Project Gotham Racing I and II...great games. Also I'd recommend Burnout 3, and The Urbz: Sims in the City (if you liked Bustin' Out. There's even more to do and a better campaign/storyline!)

Also I'd recommend giving Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee a rent. I think you'd like it!

Cordelia - you BET we def have to play! OH and you have to get a communicator so we can be real geeks and talk too! 😀

OneEyedXander - I absolutely LOVE X-Men Legends too. I agree Heroes is better than Balder's Gate, but Hubby and I do enjoy playing Balder's Gate on Extreme Mode! Question: have you played Brute Force?

Project Gotham Racing was the first game I ever played. The carryout up the road you used to be able to rent a x-box for like a few days for $15. I wanna rent that game so bad now again. I got up to the like volzwagen bug and PT cruzer area lol. But I love my X-Box!

But when I get the money I'm buying the CSI game!!!!

I did not like that one for some reason. Maybe I just dont like third person view except in certain games.

Ok I didn't like it either. I played a demo and thought maybe I hadn't given it a fair shake, and figured since you loved X-men and Heroes that if you liked Brute Force I'd give it another go. I'll definitely not bother then! Thanks 😀

What that 'Heroes' game like?

Oh and I will get The Urbz: Sims in the City but only when the price goes down it's like $50 right now at the stores around here.

D&D Heroes is an absolutely incredible game. Take a peak around the Net and look for screenshots. It's a 3rd person view game, and you can play up to 4-players co-operative campaign. I LOVE this game..the music, the graphics, the storyline, this game is huge. I think it got 9.6 out of 10 in Official Xbox Magazine.

Thanks for the info Jenny, it does look interesting. I personally have never played a Dungeons & Dragons game. But I did see the movie that they made. If the movie is any indication of the game, I'll be looking for some version to play.

If the snow lets up this weekend I'm going to see about renting some games.

I never had either..and you don't have to be a Dungeons & Dragons fan to like the game, trust me!!!

So did you get out to renting any?

The game heros isnt much like D&D except for the levelng system. Most of the time I just call it Heros because I dont realy think of it as a D&D game.

No, I think it's going to be awhile longer before I do so.
Right now I'm just playing CSI, on the 6 case now and PC version of The Sims-deluxe.

Yesterday I rented Harry Potter: Quidditch World Cup, it's rented out for 7 days.
From what I played so far, any Harry Potter fan should love this game.
You play at Hogworts and play at the World cup.
Unlock cards to unlock more moves, matches and teams.

Ok well I bought Oddworld: Stangers Wrath on Saturday and it's great. VERY different from the other Oddworld games in that it doesn't follow the quintology and it's got different characters and such. But it's still set on Oddworld and there's some familiar animals that make an appearance (stupid SLOGS!).

But yeah I highly recommend people check out Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee for Xbox (my favourite game EVER). 🙂

oh for those who have played the PC versions of CSI, you'll probably not going to want CSI. The cases are the same as the PC, except all 10 cases are on the one game. I've heard about alot of CSI fans complaining about that.

I hope they make another version soon. I love this game.

Luckily I have not played the PC version. I really want the Xbox version though!

I just got a new game, it's a NASCAR racing game, though I did find a place to buy used X-box games, it's called Half-Price books, if you want to look for one in your area go to there website half-price books.

I've been there before but haven't seen video games til now. They also have books (of course), computer games, movies (videos & dvds) and music (cds, tapes and records). You can also take your old books ect, to them and get money for it, but not much. My dad took a big box of books and only got $3 ( I think or maybe $1, all paperback) for it.

I have XBOX, I got it for the original BTVS game... Seriously worth it 🙂

I have these games.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Chaos Bleeds
Scooby Doo Mystery Mahem
Atari Anthology

We just got ours today along with 3 games. Halo (sp?), Need For Speed, and Celebrity Death Match. I'm hoping to get the BTVS games for it, tho!

I have heard some good stuff about Dance Dance Revolution, I was thinking about trying that out. Sounds very fun and might be good exercise.

I have a Pavlov's Dog reaction of terror to the sight of an XBox because one of the other girls dropped one on me from a height my first week at work. And everybody was more concerned about he XBox than my poor, eggshell-like head. Those bad boys are heavy.

Anybody played Fable? Is it as good as everybody keeps rambling it is?
