I think it's Warren.
He was powerful, not as much as W but never know.

Reason:
We saw W skin him, but that doesn't really mean she killed him. She did have the bullet enter him but that doesn't mean it killed him. She might of stopped it or just released her hold on it when she skinned him, thinking he was dead.

Army General did ask how is he alive? "The reply was magic."

Well I dought it's Clem. We saw him leaving town in a Red VW bug.

Amy wanted a weapons lab for him. That kind of narrows it down to Warren or Adam of the list so far don't you think?

I still think Rack would have an outside shot.

Thing about Warren is, we saw his flayed corpse appear to "burn up", disappear right before Willow left the scene. You could argue she just sent him off to some never never land, or just some other part of Sunnydale. Then Amy retrieved skinless Warren somehow, or just stumbled upon him, reanimated him somehow.

Adam's maybe the most credible contender, but you'd think the general or his lackey would have noted that he's actually an Initiative creation as they talk about him. I dunno.

I just can't see it being Adam. I mean she killed him in what S5 or S6 or something, I forget. And wouldn't u think that IF they just the Initiative As Is something would of eaten him. Or what was left of him.

Actually it was S4, and I forget the details, but early in the talk concerning the coming of the comic, artist Georges Jeanty mentioned something about Joss having him check out one of the earlier seasons to look over one of the characters. The suspicion was it was one of the big bads. This was based on another rumor/spoiler (I don't know which) saying a previous big bad would make an appearance.

Adam wasn't so much killed as he had his battery removed. The body remained in the Initiative as far as we know.

That is true, Buff more or less removed the battery. Well with this info, then yes I would have to agree it probably is Adam.

I have a feeling it could be Adam. Somoene could have just stuck a new battery into him. OR! Amy could have done some magical thing and put a magical battery in him.

For some reason I still think it's somoene we don't know yet. Third guess would be... me!

I doubt its Jonathan. He was burried outside of Sunnydale. I think.

Adam would have been taken away when the Initiative was shut down.

I was thinking about that. Adam being taken away. I bet he wasn't. Remember he was in the "secret lab" that they didn't know about, and that's where Buff & Adam fought. So they might not of removed his body. Also we heard them say they were going to fill it in with concrete & that never happened.
I hope it's some one we totally didn't think of or some one new.

In The Killer in Me Buffy and Spike go down into the Initiative, and discover there's still demons down there. This suggests to me all the demons down there were just left, and some survived. Right, or wrong, I don't know, but that's the impression I got.

I'd never even have considered Rack or Clem, or ethan (Although from memory he was in some top secret, i wanna say nevada desert, military compound)

I've also heard people say it could be Caleb.
What about Ted (watever happened to him...or his leftovers).
Perhaps muloch (The robot from i robot you jane...i cant spell it).

Or my personal fav SNYDER! he couldve survived being eaten by the mayor and then blown up...with magic 😛

My moneys still on adam but it does seem a bit obvious. Maybe I'll be surprised.

I'll be honest. I don't like the idea of any of those characters. I hope it is something all together different. I didnt like Adam at all. I think Warren was played out and wasn't a good villan anyway and wasn't clem the 'hangy' skin guy that was friends with spike? He was a nice guy.

But wasn't the Cheese Man from season five? I thought Joss told George or whatever to check out the earlier seasons...or...oh yeah! He was from Restless...season four not five! It could be the Cheese Man! Lol. Add him to the list!
