who is angel's love?

That's true BUT the more you think about it the more Angel and Buffy could never be, thats why he left, she deserved more than a vampire with a soul. And he deserved something other than a slayer.. The irony of it lasted as long as it could, but thats that. A vampire slayer and a vampire cant last. Even after spike gets a soul, she doesn't ever "date" him. She tells him straight up look, im a vampire slayer, and you're a vampire, its doesnt work, I love you, but not that way. I stand by Darla being the love of Angel's life. And I stand by the fact that souless vampires can love too. If it wasn't for the love that Spike had with Buffy, he'd never have gone and searched for his soul.

I agree! I think he definetly loved her. He wanted to become a good man because of her. He went against every instinct to change himself so she could love him back-thats love. Not neccessarily HEALTHY love, but love.

i think that vampires can love... angel loved darla, and he was obessessed over drusilla. unfortunely darla didn't love angel the same way because when he was cursed by the gipsys she was disgusted and didn't want t be with him.
Spike loved buffy too but i guess she didn't love him back. Only when she knew that she was gonna loose him was when she said " i love you". I still think that darla should end up with angel and thay should raise connor.

I wish that could have happened too. Because I really really liked Julie Benz as an actress and I loved Darlas character, but not everything in the Buffy/Angel world works, sadly. I still think Darla did love Angel after he was cursed, she was just in awe about the fact that he couldn't think the way she did. She just didn't understand at that point WHY he was chanegd so much, that's why she left.. Not because she didn't love him.

yeah she was jus disgusted because usually vampire don't want to have a soul ( i'm not talking about spike). but in the end she always loved angel and in BTVS she wanted to be with him. but it was to late. i was really sad when angel staked her because of buffy..

I was sad about that too. But at the time, you don't really understand Darla's life, The audience just sees her as an evil vampire (which is true) but In Buffy you just don't see the same perspective of her life as you do in Angel.

i totally agree with you.. in angel series she showed a lot of feelings ( for angel and connor), she sacrificed herself because she knew that she could never love her baby and she should end up killing him.. it was a great moment the her last speech to angel... making him promise that connor will know about her sacrifice. i just love darla character.

Buffy, for sure Buffy. You have to go back and re-watch it all...Angel and Buffy were not together because he wanted a better life for her...only someone who loves you would do that. He didnt do that for cordy. Cordy was just second to Buffy. But I did like cordy and angel, but I was always saying....buffy is his true love.

Yeah but when Buffy and Angel were together, Buffy was just a teenager. Angel left her because he couldn't give her a family. With Cordelia on the other hand, she was already grown and they had a family already which was Connor and the rest of Angel Investigations.

Definitely Buffy. It was always Buffy for Angel and Angel for Buffy.

Even after he left (which he did out of love for her) he continued to run back to her ANYTIME he thought she needed him. He was there for her whenever she was in danger, when her mom died, etc. and even at the very end of the show they were MAKING OUT and he asked her if she ever thinks about them in the future. It's so obvious to me!! If he didn't still love Buffy then there would be no reason for him to ask her that. Not to mention that when he was dreaming of having sex in that one episode he actually said Buffy's name. This one is a no brainer to me.

It's totally Buffy for Angel.

He said Buffy's name when making love to Cordy, how is that?
I don't remember Buffy and Angel making out at the end of season 7....they kissed once. It wasn't like they were totally sucking face!🙂 Besides, when Angel gives buffy the necklace, she chooses Spike to be her champion, even though Angel had automatically assumed it would be his position.

If you watch the episode again you will clearly see Buffy and Angel making out as soon as they see each other. It was passionate kissing....Spike was watching from the shadows and got upset and ran off.

The reason Buffy chooses Spike over Angel is because she's worried that she won't make it through the fight and that Angel may be needed if she fails. She clearly states this as well.

Angel and Cordy.

The joy Angel felt when Cordy came back and the sorrow when she died speaks more to me than words ever could.

I personally feel that if Cordy had stayed, Angel would have finally said those 3 words she wanted to hear, and Buffy would be told to hit the bricks.

The love of Angel's life is clearly... Angel.

AHAHAHAHA
Do you really believe that's "passionate"? I guess some people lead quite pedestrian lives.

As well as what? That her other reason for getting rid of Angel is because of her love for Spike...oh yeah..oops

Cordy if she was still alive, I liked the relationship between them and I think that it's better than the stupid (unreal in reality) fairytale of Bangel.

It was clearly more than a "friendly" kiss.....unless you're someone who sticks your tongue down the throats of friends just to say "hello" in which case I can see how you'd miss my point.

I don't buy that Buffy was trying to get rid of Angel because she loved Spike.

I liked Angel and Cordy too and they would probably be my 2nd choice....but we can't really write off a relationship because it's "unreal in reality" or else we'd have to write off the entire show considering there's no such thing as a slayer to begin with....or vampires for that matter, etc, etc.

Maybe you missed this part, let me refresh your memory.

There were no tongues. Besides, he's gone.

I don't buy that bit about Buffy getting rid of Angel because of Spike either. Just because it explicitly said it, showed it, and explained it on screen DOES NOT mean we should believe it..

I will never understand why some people have some grotesque need to rewrite events of the show. It happened the way it happened, just accept it for what it was and move on.

Of course she's going to tell Spike it was a "hello" considering the complicated history they had.

But at least we can agree on something....I too will never quite understand why some people have the need to rewrite events of the show.

To be honest, the more and more I watch Angel the more I love Cordy and Angel together. I don't believe she is his true love, but I do believe they belong together. I think that Buffy will always be his true love, but there is a time for everything, and as we knew it, their time had passed...I wonder if Angel really would have left if Joyce had not of said anything to him. Maybe so, eventually, who knows. But he wanted to be with her.

Anyways, I still love Cordy and Angel together tho, they really look great as a couple.
