Who is collecting the Buffy trading cards?

and have random sets of trading cards. Not bought anything of that sorta thing in a long while though.

What are the trading cards like? Is it along the lines of the Magic trading card game, or is it more like baseball cards?

I've been close to buying sets of them on eBay just to add to my collection--the ones that come with the collectible Buffy binders--but don't quite know what I'd do with them.

I've been close to buying sets of them on eBay just to add to my collection--the ones that come with the collectible Buffy binders--but don't quite know what I'd do with them.

Mainly they're nice to look at and for reminiscing. For example the 10th anniversary base cards(there's base cards which are cheap and then more expensive bonus cards, like autographs, pieces of clothing, etcetc). They're 90 cards with pics from the different seasons, with writing on the back about a particular episode or moment or character, etcetc. Those base cards also have a few "Joss notes/thoughts" cards which are pretty cool, because Joss talks about filming and such(sometimes the cards doesn't say exactly which epsiode he's talking about tough, which can be confusing).

They're pretty cheap too.

You can get autographed cards for only a few bucks. Like this one:

Kinslayer: About your signed card. I'd say it looks authentic. I have a calendar that James Marsters signed for me in person, and that signiture on your card looks identicle to it. James is left handed..So it's pretty difficult to duplicate such a unique signiture like that. 🙂 I'd say you have yourself an authentic card!
