I know I am! I just found out that Julie Benz(Darla) will be one of the stars. For those who haven't heard of it... Taken will follow 3 families over 3 generations of experiences with extra-terrestrials. It is the largest mini-series ever! 10-2 hour episodes! And just when I thought I wouldn't have anything good to watch on TV this summer.

I just checked it out and yes... it was on the Sci-Fi channel. It appears to be the Canadian premiere. We don't get the Sci Fi channel. Sorry about that. Our CRTC makes us choose a canadian substitute over American specialty channels so we have "Space: the Imagination Station" and they are not too big on the original programming. It is new to me anyhow... lol. If anyone has seen it... should I see it or will it be a waste of time? (no spoilers please)

This has already been on in England on normal tv, and i have to tell you it's good. The end bit is really sad, but for those of you who have not seen it yet i won't spoil it for you, but you have to watch it. And the great thing is, it's out on video before it is in America.

I loved this show, and might by it on video if i find it, it's on video now.

I know what you mean Slyrmom. Doesn't that just put lumps in your gravy. We still haven't seen Jeremiah, and unless you were rich enough to afford the specialty channels you never got to see Witchblade.

Sometimes a Canadian finds himself envying Mexico. I think our government wants us to feel like the 3rd grade dregs of North America.

You know what's worse? is if you live on the west coast. All the perks and licensing goes to the east coast first, so you get double-dipped to the bottom of the dregs. The space channel is run by the Ontario-yos, and no competition is allowed. This fall a Vancouverite is going to have to get up at 7 in the morning to watch Buffy. Ontario-yos get it at 10.Then there's the CBC. They won't even let Don Cherry do the colour commentary on a west coast hockey game.

BTW I'm looking forward to seeing Taken too.

hah...witchblade was ill...tnt be gay yo...hella gay...

Space: The imagination Channel??...lol...what a title...

Hey! At least I got Buffy one day earlier than you guys! lol. It is kind of lame though. For Nerdforhire: Jeremiah plays on TMN. Is it TMN still? It used to be First Choice. Canadian TV is really messed up. If they want us to have a Canadian equivelant... they should package the channels together so that we pay for both... I would pay for Space if I got the SciFi Channel.
I live in Ontario so I had no idea that those on the West Coast had so much trouble with their programming. Thank you for letting me know,

We have 3 French channels in BC, and no French people to watch them. I'm only complaining about the first part.

Is Jeremiah any good? I heard it was good. We don't get the stations you mentioned.

I thought u got the movie network. I saw a few scattered episodes but I really enjoyed it.

You really should watch it! I loved it so much I taped it all! I've watched it 3 times! LOL! I definitely recommend it.

I saw it when it premiered on scifi channel in december or around that time, I found it to be a rather bold yet effective story, a few plots lost me but for the most part it was well done.
