Who is the best Big Bad?

I know it seems like I have been making a whole crapload of threads lately, but I just have so many questions that this site can actually answer!

This can be from Angel or Buffy.
I think it is Adam. I realize that a lot of people don't like him, but I just thought he was to friggin kickass.
 
The more threads the better, dont worry about it!

Now Adam is great but my favorites are 1. Angelus(s2) 2. Holtz(As3) 3. Mayor(s3)
Angelus story and the whole concept of it was breathtaking.

But Holtz is amazing character. (my thread on Angel s3 forum *Holtz: the best big bad* will tell you why if your interested) his story was also unique and epic!!!
 
Adam was definitely an awesome big bad, a high tech Frankenstein with an Charles Manson personality, even to his taste in music. "I like 'Helter Skelter'." That's just GOT to be intensional.

My favorite, though, has to be Hamilton from "Angel Season 5." So evil, so powerful, so articulate, and so WELL DRESSED. What more could you possibly ask for in a bad guy?
 
My top three (as yet; Angel S5 is only about one-third through first airing here on German TV, Fred's still Fred - damn I hate having been spoilered there...) would be

1. Dark Willow (easily!)
2. Angelus (close second)
3. Jasmine
 
yeah, definetly. lilah and lindsey were great charaters, ecspecially in s2.

2. Lindsey from Wolfram and Hart
3. The mayor and Faith together

(Not sure if they are official big bads but those 3 are the best)

I don't know if Lilah really qualifies for Big Bad, but at least technically she does. She was with the evilest of all law firms, which was the real big bad (as it was present for all 5 seasons of Angel), and for about two seasons she was head of special projects there, so I think she could be considered Big Bad.
