Who is the best reccurring character from buffy?

There have been many characters that just keep coming back, some very loveable and then the ones you wished every week would get killed? Which one is your favorite?

sorry i know im shouting but Tara to me is THE best recurring Character.....if it was an overall Buffy/Angel it would still be Tara BUT Lilah would be a very close second

Anyways, for me it's a tie between Drusilla and Andrew.

She only ever had guest star status...she may have been in it for over two years....but Joyce was in more epis and she made it on the list......Tara only Recurred.....ok she had her pic up on the last epi she was in...but that was a salute to Benson and the Fans

It was Ambers own choice...she wanted freedomto work on other projects BUT still keep Tara alive....it worked well for all.....
How they handled her character...as a prominent recurring character ios how Cordy should have been in seasons 1, 2 and 3...she was so under used...and sometimes when she was on screen....it was a small tiny part.....

My favorite recurring character is Tara but I consider her a regular anyway so my second choice is Wesley.He was just so funny in season 3 and he added a lot to the show.Since he wasn't in the list,I picked Andrew.He was just hilarious.

I picked Andrew for same reasons....because Tara not in list and because he is second best(after Wes...though because he got full time status in Angel he never occured to me) and funny

yes, technically tara was a recurring character, but she had such a large part i still consider her a regular. and i always forget about wesley, cus he went on to be full time on angel. but he was great, the only thing was when he was on buffy i wanted him to die, he annoyed me so much, and then on angel he became one of my favorite characters, and it was the same way with darla.

I love Andrew he's the funniest 1 out of the trio and mayebe even the funniest in s7 I just love Andrew and besides talk about eyecandy.

Definitely Faith. She isn't on the list but she was in 20 episodes and she is my all time favourite character (well, Faith and Willow but yeah).

I think I would still say that Tara was a regular on the show, I know she wasn't really but she was in most of the episodes during those two and a half years. And at places like IMDb and such, she is listed as a regular, not guest starring... Ah well.

We may all think of Tara and prayed that she would have been a full time member BUT in THE one place that counts......the show.....she never achieved that status(through Amber Bensons own chioce)......you can visit as many sites as you want...Tara was not a regular.....and IF Joyce(who had more episodes then Tara and a lot of the actual regulars) is on the lest and considered a recurring then so should Tara....

It's neither about the number of time she appears nor about whether or not she appeared on the credits. (Superstar, anyone?!) It's about how we, the fans, perceive(d) her and what we make of her role within the series and the group. And if you really wanna know how how the majority of the fans feel, I'd say this is the perfect oppertunity for a poll.

Tara was a recurring character, she never achieved full open credit regular status...because Amber didnt want it.
The fact that she is not a regular DOESNT take anything from her character, or her performance BUT she was always just a recurring character.
Ands as for the Superstar ANOMALY that was a spoof of the credits, that has NO baring in this conversation WHAT SO EVER.
IF in this POLL the likes of JOYCE and ANDREW are considered RECURRING then Tara MUST be considered IN THE SAME LIGHT.
