FIRST of do a list out of the female in bot of the shows.

1)willow she is connected with everything
2)buffy (with scthy) and that weapon could kill illyria.
3)Glory hell god but buffy brayed her a couple of times.
4)illyria she a pure demon.
5)faith. she weak compare to the list lol: king :

Strongest physically or emotionally? Physically isn't much of a decision.

Also, stop yelling. Though im sure a mod will change the title

Emotionally i say Buffy becasue her emotion give her power and that might outstand her oppoents like in the past.

But pure power i say WILLOW !!!!!

I'm a bit limited in my choices because i haven't seen all of angel yet...i'm only half way through season 2 😛 Soo i'll just decided it with people from Buffy..

Physically strongest ~ errrmm...probably Willow, especially when she's all black eyed baddy! 😀 Dark Willow has just got the whole out of control thing...no limits..

Mentally Strongest ~ Buffy, she has to deal with the whole psychological effects that being a slayer creates...that plus the fight against evil on her shoulders....i think she's easily the strongest mentally.

i agree because. On the show Illyria, when she was at full power in Fred's shell, powers included super human strength far more greater than most if any character on both series and LIMITED time shifting abilities. All things I'm sure Willow can achieve. Witchcraft is connected to nature and the earth and the earth is pretty much Willow's weapon. She can draw on it's very energy and essence to perform powerful magic. Remeber in her prime, Illyria needed an army to destroy the earth Willow didn't.

No more spoilers please...i said i was only on season 2
I'd say that physically Buffy is stronger than Willow. Willow is strong due to magic which is not what I class as physical strength. In which case, I could say that mentally Willow is stronger as it takes some mental capacity to control the magical power she had.

Pure physical strength : Glory.

Buffy got lucky whenever she managed to hurt her, she admits that herself. Glory is quite obviously stronger than her. What Buffy needs a wrecking ball to do, Glory can do with a slap.

And what I am talking about is physical strength, regardless of determination, imagination or pep! 😛

"tough love" she kick her ass . I know Buffy say that Glory is stronger then her , but that why i think Buffy has alot of strenght becuase 7 years fighting experience and she well know whats to come :: vampire yeah but willow is connected also knows whats to come ,aswell. 🙂

Are you referring to the "strongest" as in physical strength? (who could lift the greatest weight using muscle power alone?)

PROBABLY Illyria before her powers were reduced, with Glory running a close second. Willow would be dead last, because she has no more than normal human strength.

Or, are you referring to the "strongest" as an implication of the most proficient fighter? (as in "put them all in a ring, no holds barred, slug it out until only one is left standing)

In that case, I would again say Illyria, with Buffy coming in second, because she has figured out a way to defeat or at least fight to a standstill all of the others, magically enhanced Willow included.

The fight would probably go something like this:

Faith, always impetuous, would go after the most powerful being in the fight, Illyria, and wouldn't last long enough to blink.

Willow would try to use her magic to take on Glory with almost the same results. Will would live long enough to blink a couple of times.

Illyria, after taking out Faith, would go after the strongest remaining opponent, Glory, and twist her head off.

That leaves Buffy to face Illyria, and our favorite Slayer only comes in second.

Game over. Illyria takes the crown.

I don't think you're giving Willow enough credit. Buffy never actually beat Willow when she went Dark, and she's an awful lot stronger than that now. Without her friends to support her, Buffy wouldn't even have been able to hold Willow off, never mind contain her.

I say willow is strongest the illyria

when giles said willow had reached the maximum attianable power. she could sense every emotion from every being on the planet, she was connected to everything. as they point out in episode 3 season 7 every object or person in the world is connected. Willow was conected to everything at the end season 6, which of course is why no supernatural force on earth could have defeated her. those powerful to enough to stop her. can't exist in this dimension. she is the ultimate being that can exist on earth in the buffy verse. now if you could get her on another plane or dimension you have a shot. i think only the first would have had a chance to take her down, because at this point, shes the juggernaunt, her only real weakness is the fragilily of her mind, becuase shes channel both dark and light magic at the same time and feeling everyone emotions. And her emotion give her the oppounity to fight any battle with any creature on earth becasue I'm sorry but Willow has proven to be on par with a goddess. She went to battle with a god, raised the dead twice , almost destroyed the world, and single handedly rewrote a powerful and ancient ritual to combat evil and that's not lisying all of her feats. On the show Illyria, when she was at full power in Fred's shell, powers included super human strength far more greater than most if any character on both series and LIMITED time shifting abilities. I said "Beat or fought to a standstill." Whether Buffy could have eventually won or not might be in question, but there is no question about the fact that she held her own until Giles' fortuitous arrival. Whether she could have held her own until Willow's magic was exhausted, we will never know, but my money would have been on the Slayer. Remember also that she wasn't fighting to kill Willow as much as to detain her while Xander got the three "evil masterminds" away, so she was probably holding back at least a little bit, if only subconsciously. Willow was her best friend, evil or not, and Buffy would be reluctant to kill her.

This is true, but at the same time, I got the distinct impression that Willow really wasn't trying. She was toying with Buffy. She only really used her magically enhanced strength - if she'd wanted to actually finish it, she'd have tried some of the stuff she did with Giles. Slayer or no, Buffy's body probably couldn't have coped with that.

Buffy is the strongest female in all aspects.
Glory is actually probably stronger than her but combined with
everything else I'm gunna go with Buffy.

So both women were probably either consciously or subconsciously holding back for whatever reason. I still stand by my choice. Buffy could have drawn the fight out until Willow's magical batteries were discharged, then finished her off. Or, Willow could have nailed Buffy with a single, lucky or otherwise, bolt of power. That still makes it a 50/50 proposition in my book, and Buffy has a habit of winning in the end no matter how powerful her opponents are.

Phisically:

Buffy or Faith for me (I might have said Illyria, but not much of her is human so I didn't count her it) As for Willow, I might have coinsidered her the stongest in s6 but when you look at her in s7 (beside in Chosen) she doesn't have much power

Mentally (intelligence wise)

Fred seems to make the smartest choice of the bunch, so she takes it for me.

Emotionnaly

Probably Tara. She seems to be the one that everybody wants to go too for life advice. Even if she is unsure about herself in early season, I think she is the most stable woman on the show.
