Heck, I'm not even much of a Lindsey fan, and yet I think his quitting W&H ("evil hand!") deserved a standing ovation (both story wise and acting).
Now if you mean who I relate to the most (or should say who has the least barrier in me projecting myself into her) then that's a side character who didn't last too long, and she wasn't my favorite character (however much I enjoyed her).
Dependent on the season; S1 is Buffy, S2 is Giles, S3 is Faith, S4 is Oz then Spike, S5 is Buffy again, S6 is....Tara I guess. Last season it's a Xander/Dawn/Faith tie.
But there are many other characters I tend to consistently like and root for throughout the series; that tends to be Buffy overall.
Buffy, even though I’m a straight male. I see bits of myself in her, And unlike most teen protagonists, she doesn’t get bogged down in drama. She’s also funny, strong and inspirational.
If I'm giving my full list, it currently goes:
1. Buffy, 2. Angel, 3. Anya, 4. Tara, 5. Cordy, 6. Dawn, 7. Fred, 8. Willow, 9. Faith, 10. Darla
I'm not sure where Drusilla would go, but I also really like her.
(I think about this too much)
PricelessYes, pretty much all the female characters are fantastic.
She is so strong and so brave. She is my favorite female tv character of all time. And Angel is completely right, she wears her heart on her sleeve. I pretty much see the entire series through her eyes. I've never really felt so much empathy for a fictional character before, as much as I do for her. Sometimes I just want to jump through the TV screen and stand up for her. That's my chicka! ❤
