Who is your favorite non-main cast character?

Can be from Buffy or Angel, but the only requirement is that the character you choose can't have been in the opening credits of either show at any time.

My pick would have to be Lindsey. I thought he was a phenomenal character all through the first three seasons of Angel and his comeback in S5 was awesome. Tremendous ending as well.

Lindsey was great, loved his comeback (I hadn't seen it coming at all)
As much as I would like to say Faith here, I'm gonna go with a REALLY non main cast character and say Sid, the puppet. There was something about him that just really intrigued me, and so much about him that we never got to see.

Assuming Tara doesn't count for her single, solitary and final appearance on the show, I will have to go with Faith as well. She has a great character arc through two shows, she kicks butt and is hotter than the devil's armpit.

Im gonna have to say lindsey too. He really was an awesome character. I love the scene at the end of the episode dead end when he's on about his evil hand.

[Lilah gasps as Lindsey pinches her butt. Lindsey holds up hand again]

Ah, how could I have forgotten Faith!? Okay, at the risk of destroying the credibility of my own question, I'm officially going to a tie between Lindsey and Faith.
 
I quite liked Clem but I'd have to say a tie between Lindsey and Andrew. Lindsey was a great suit / urban cowboy / villain who made an awesome comeback looking all badass with his tattoos 🙂 I liked Andrew because he appealed to the geek in me. I loved his Bond argument with J & W, and his Death Star van. He was the ultimate geek.
 
Either Faith or Mayor Richard Wilkins. The Mayor is such a likable but incredibly creepy character. I think number one is the Mayor. Faith comes a close second.

Faith. No shadow of a doubt. Mainly because when Faith was introduced I really began to love the show.
 
Darla is my favorite (more on AtS obviously). I also love Faith, Lindsey, Lilah, Jenny, & Andrew. Oh, and Merle from AtS- we needed more Merle. And Larry from BtVS.
 
From Ats, it's Lilah, love her, and from Btvs I'd say, probably Devon, I would've liked to have seen more of him.
