Who is your Favourite Actress in the buffyverse?Who do you think was the best?Who potrayed their role, the best?Who is your fav/s?I voted for all of them, because they did an awesome job, acting & potraying their character.
 
I chose Sarah and Eliza based solely on their performances in Who are you? When they switched places I think each actress took on the others role very well. I always forget who I think did the better job but they were both spectactular. James is quite wonderful too I still find it hard to believe he's American.

I love them all, but I voted for Eliza and Emma. Eliza always did a beautiful job as Faith, she really captured the role and showed the downward spiral and the upward swing perfectly. Emma is just so funny, but she can be really heartbreaking in moments like her death in Chosen, and especially Hell's Bells and The Body.
 
Uhg... my last post earlier obviously didn't post... anyway, Emma (Anya), Amy (Fred/Illyria), Juliet Landau (Dru!), and Julie Benz (Darla) all have been shown as both Human and Demon at one point in one of the two shows history 🙂

I was torn between two. I picked Juliet Landau in the end, she's not my personal fave character wise, but her acting in my opinion is great. To be able to act so mentally disturbed on a constant basis and pull it off! Take a bow Dru!
My second choice was Allyson Hannigan. She's played a witch, a school nerd, a vampire, and a lesbian at one point. WOW! She was a chameleon of characters- and I think that takes talent! Thumbs way up to Willow!
 
SMG & AH, have the most votes so far.Theys seem to be the most popular actresses.They were very good at acting.Keep those votes comin guys, cause who knows, maybe the tides will change.Maybe someone else is better than SMG & AH.
 
I think Amy Acker is amazing. She played so many different emotions and her transition to illyria was phenominal!!
 
Personally, I feel that SMG was the best actress in the bunch. She did an excellent job of portraying the most difficult character . . . namely, Buffy Anne Summers.

Alyson Hannigan and Eliza Dushku are tied for second place, for me. And Julie Benz, and Stephanie Romanov are tied for third.

I agree - and making the character so popular and likeable..and not bringing in the Buffy from the original movie..making Buffy her own unique character...SMG did a FANTASTIC job.
 
I voted for SMG and Amy Acker, because there both tremedous actresses.

SMG in WSWB, Prophecy Girl, the Gift... all amazing and Amy Acker especially as Illyria.
