But seriously, I've read theories that he's actually Luke using a fake hologram to hide his identity. But that doesn't make any sense when you think about it, because the whole film is about the map to Luke's hiding place.
I've also read that Snoke is Darth Vader because he has that deep scar at roughly the same place as Vader when we see him at the end of Jedi. But that would suck, because it would totally screw up the whole narrative of the original trilogy.
 
Sorry but you are all wrong, Snape was getting some practise for his upcoming role with that saucy HP guy.
 
Here's a wacky theory. Snoke is... wait for it... Snoke! There is no conspiracy theory around his hidden identity, he is who he says he is. Period.

That's what I hope. Kind of pisses me off when filmmakers think everything in a franchise needs to be connected somehow. It's kind of annoying when you can't watch a film for what it is.
When I was watching Doctor Strange, I didn't think about anything but the film itself. When it was over, my friend began talking about infinity stones and stuff and I suddenly realized that it was part of a bigger picture. I don't know... That kind of annoyed me. I guess I'm just getting tired of cinematic universes.

Preach. That's why I really dislike the vast majority of Marvel movies. And I get the feeling the Universal Monster universe will be the same way for me.
