so, I no that there are a lot of haters but I want to know who likes her

Not me. She's one of the worst characters in Buffy history.
I don't mind Kennedy to be honest. I think if she hadn't have been with Willow I would have liked her even more.

The spoilt brat character is always a good one. She was almost like a cross between Dawn and Cordelia!
 
I like Kennedy. Moreso since the season 8 comics have been coming out and it's been made clearer how much she loves Willow and how afraid she is of losing her.
 
I like Kennedy, i agree with what caitaintdead said, she is a cross between cordy and dawna nd i think its great 🙂
 
At certain moments, I like Kennedy. Well, not *like*, but I think she's okay. Her "let's go get 'em" attitude was certainly a relief from all the other whining, scared Potentials'.

Still, I don't understand what Willow saw in her romantically, especially so shortly after Tara died, and I think that's my main objection with Kennedy. She was there too quick. 🙁
 
Kennedy was NEVER entertaining or as good a character as Tara.
BUT she was the character you didn't mind watching, especially if she was making Willow happy again.

Sure, i was like "OH BI**H F*CK Off!"
Then I didn't mind her as much.
 
I like her, actually. I don't mind her with Willow, actually...
It puts Willow's "dirty" side more in spotlight, in a way, it's cool.
And their (sexual) relationship reminds me in a LIGHT way at Spuffy, and that sure is a + 😉.

I also agree that maybe her character was introduce a bit to fast, even though I love Tara and she is my favorite, I think that Willow has the right to love someone and to be love. I also think that it wa made clear in season 8 that they are in love even if it is a diffferent relation then from Tillow
 
I liked Kennedy a lot. She was interesting and more importantly, she was a complex and ambiguous person who would not allow others to dictate her actions - whether she was right or wrong.

Also, I think that her relationship with Willow had a balance that the latter's relationships with both Oz and Tara lacked.
 
I also liked the character, enjoyed her arrogance, determination and confidence. She had some great lines too.

Now, to really burn the Tara / Willow faction, did anyone ever consider that if the season 8 comics are considered canon, it is possible that Kennedy, not Tara, is the real love of Willow's life. Don't remember which comic it was but Willow and Kennedy get into a big conversation about how Willow is not willing to risk Kennedy's life and she admits that she KNEW that by staying in Sunnydale in season 6 that she was maybe putting Tara in danger. So who does, did she love more? Was willing to live without Tara, not willing to live without Kennedy. Do the math.

OK - the fireworks can now begin.

I really liked Kennedy as a character and because she made Willow happy - I HATED her guts when she was whining and challenging Buffy's authority.

Well, that's simply a flawed argument. It was precicely becasue of Tara that Willow felt the need to leave. You've never heard of, for example, a parent being far more overprotective of a child if one of it's siblings dies? It doesn't mean they love that one more, just that they've realised that death can actually happen to them.

Willow is a lot wiser and more experienced now than she was then.

Tara *was* the love of Willow's life, but she's gone now. Expecting a 20-year-old woman with as much love in her heart as Willow has to go through the rest of her life alone and celibate, mourning for her dead girlfriend, would only magnify the tragedies of season 6 way more than I (or even Joss, apparently) would want to see.

So Willow will always keep Tara's memory and love in her heart, but now Kennedy is the love of her life. And life goes on.
 
I actually really like Kennedy. I like her cocky-confident attitude. When it came to the potentials, I feel they were all just lumped into one group. Kennedy stood out, she had the most personality (in my opinion). Plus, in the beginning, she was the only one of the potentials that had any desire to kick some demon ass. There were things about her I wasn't particularly fond of...but in general I thought she was a good character. I also thought it was hilariously great the way she hit on Willow. And though I will always love Tara/Willow...and as a couple they definitely topped the list, Kennedy and Willow's bond by the last episode was pretty beautiful. It was nice to see Willow happy again :]

But she didn't leave, she stayed. And she admitted that it isn't / wasn't hindsight, she admitted that she made a consious decision to stay, knowing the risks.


Anyway, I just posted this to tweak the oversensitive Tara supporters so let's just agree to disagree.

I dont want her to be the love of Will's life. *whine, nag, pout*

Even though I admit to liking Kennedy, as a person, a whole lot better on rewatching S7 atm, I still think Killow is wrong.
 
I think it's not so much the character most people hate, but rather her relationship with Willow...people hate her out of some kind of loyalty to Tara. She was a spoiled, bratty bitca, though...

I didn't mind her. She was refreshing in a way, since all those other potentials were all just even more annoying and whiny. I'm even quite impartial to Killow. I liked Tillow way more, obviously, because Tara and Willow were basically made for eachother. However, it was interesting to see a more adventerous side of Willow. I mean, getting involved with someone like Kennedy who is, basically, soo not her.
