Who looked the best after pregnancy?

1. Sarah Michelle Gellar (before her second pregnancy)
2. Alyson Hannigan (before her second pregnancy)
3. Charisma Carpenter

Is this a scientific question or are you trying to offend the fairer sex by asking who looked hotter after having a child?

No I'm just asking who looked the best after pregnancy? You know body shape wise

Yet another wonderful thread by the always effulgent The Dark Avenger everyone! Why do we need a discussion about appearances? All women are beautiful no matter what shape, size, or colour they come in. You need to stop treating BB like an 'Us Weekly' and discuss the character, not the actresses body. Honestly.

thank you.
I never examined how they looked pre/post baby (maybe except for Charisma, since she did post for Playboy after she had her son) but you have to remember that you can't compare them to a normal, average, everyday mom. They have major help: nannies, cooks, trainers, cleaning people, etc. I don't really care how Hollywood women look during or after pregnancy. I care more about the fact that many women in this country lack prenatal care, that the cesarean rate has been climbing for the past 20 years & is now at 34%, that among industrialized nations we have one of the highest maternal mortality rates. I care more that African-American baby boys have higher infant mortality rates than any other group, that many women are treated as merely cogs in the machine of medicalized birth & have few real choices. I care that our society is super-happy about boobies! unless there's a baby attached and that maternity leave policies in the US are so lacking. I care about a poor woman's access to career training & higher education do that she can break the cycle of poverty, & I care that her children can receive high quality early childhood education.

I admire SMG, Alyson, & Charisma as actors. I don't know them personally though & I could care less about their pre/post pregnancy appearance.

To be honest I do find this a little bit offensive. Women's bodies are already so highly critiqued through the media and it is so destructive to females to hear this kind of talk. These women had just had a baby, bought an entirely new life form into the world! The body is doing some incredible things and being altered in the process. It's really no wonder that so many young girls suffer with eating disorders as a result of a misrepresentation of bodies from the media.

I think all three women are absolutely stunning women that seem to be genuinely good people. Personally I met Charisma recently and in real life she is such a beautiful person inside and out with a killer sarcastic sense of humour that resonated with me personally so for that reason alone I would say Charisma.

Charisma. Charisma always looks the best, no matter what. 😉 And Alyson and SMG are pretty freaking gorgeous too.

VisionGirl, I can't rep you again (darn Thor abs) but thank you for this. I think there are much more pressing issues than who lost weight the fastest. Women's bodies change so much in so many ways other than looks during and post pregnancy (for example my melon allergy that developed while I was pregnant and plagues me to this day). I personally think they are all beautiful, and if anything a little too thin for my taste. But really what's important is a woman's health, not her weight. If they are healthy at their weight then great. Too many women suffer from developing poor health habits due to body image issues propogated by our society's increasing focus on looks. Let's focus on something positive instead of adding to this problem.

Amen, and more Thor ab karma lol!
There's no need to be short guys, if you don't like the topic you don't have to answer and if you have a problem with it you can - at the very least - be polite about it.

🙂

Personally I think all three of them only grew more beautiful after having their babies. Perhaps it's maternal bliss, maybe it's a new softness to their shapes, I have no idea but they're incredibly gorgeous women. To my personal taste though I would probably always pick Charisma as the 'looker', but it has less to do with her body and more to do with her smile. She has a wonderful smile that just reels me in.
