Who loved Xander the most? Who was the best for him?

Who loved Xander the most? And who deserved him the most? Who was the best for him? Did he deserved one of his girlfriends?

There was Cordelia who didn't want to puplic her relationship with him very long.
There was Willow. The two had to hide their relationship because of Cordelia and Oz.
There was Anja who put Xander in several embarrasing situations.
And for a little time there was Buffy, even if she didn't loved Xander.
Well don't forgett about Dawn in season 8. Was she to young for him?
Oh and for those who hate Xander there was this gigant grasshooper which wanted to it him.

So what do you think. Who was his true love, who loved him truely. Or who loved him truely the most?

I think Anya was really good for Xander, but he didn't appriciated her the way he should have.

Even though Anya had a very harsh way of "discussing" differences and things with Xander, I believe he was who was best for him. I truly believe if she hadn't been killed off in Season 7, she and Xander would have gotten back together in Season 8. They were meant to be together; they brought out the best in each other. 🙂

I don't think Anya was the best for Xander. She kind of worshipped him. And that's not what Xander needs. I think Xander needs someone who is emotionally stronger than Anya, someone who will put him in his place when he's out of line, but doesn't put him down every second like Cordelia used to do with him. Someone who appreciates him for who he is and loves him for who he is.

I don't think Xander met the perfect woman yet. We haven't seen enough of him and Dawn yet to judge. I personally think Renee would have been the best woman for him. She adored him and was strong enough to call him on his flaws.

I do think Anya and Xander are the best match for each other. They had personalities that fit each other. To make it clear, they didn't have the same personality; their personalities did good one to another. They always felt right to me. With Cordelia it was fun and funny, because they were so different but loved each other. But after Anya and Xander started getting serious, I couldn't think otherwise - they're meant for each other. There's not a person in the world that can take Anya's silliness. Her behaviour, her quirks, her honesty, the whole weird package that is Anya.

Anya loved Xander so much that she was willing to give up her own life. Anya! In Triangle, Xander had to choose between her and Willow, and he wouldn't. So Olaf said he'd kill him. So Anya jumped out and told Olaf to kill her, just don't touch Xander. That is something I'd never think Anya would do, for anyone. It's Anya after all. The ex demon who hates men and humans. She was willing to give up her own life for Xander, after ranting that she's gonna die now that she's human. It's the first time she did something as big as this for someone else. Now, that's real love.

Anya. Without a doubt. She even cared about him while she was still getting used to being human. In Graduation Day Part I, she tried to persuade Xander to flee with her.

Anya obviously loved him the most, and Xander loved her. Remember that speech in Into the Woods? Xander was also willing to marry her - at first, anyways. They just seemed to fit together.

Xander was more like a big brother to Dawn, so I just can't with that ship.

I loved all relationships. Well except the grasshooper one! I loved Xander beeing togehter with Willow but I found it sad that the two just fell in love with each other when they allready had girl/boyfriend! They handled their feelings very unfair in the view of Oz and Cordelia! Can just repeat me, Xander and Willow disapointed me! And Dawn was a little bit too young in my eyes for Xander. I mean this relationship is very cute too but it's so strange...maybe a little bit scary too. But I don't blame Xander for loving her! In contrary, he could have broke her heart to if he wanted! Instead he took the hard and mean looks from everyone and made Dawn happy!

Anja was a pretty good choice for Xander too, I think she really loved him and he loved her. But the bursting marriage drive a wedge between them! Something like this you don't forget very easily. Both won't forgett easily. I nearly voted for Anja but her behavior was so strange in season 7. It didn't really fit to her! She got back into the revenge-business and all her character seemed to be uninterested and hard. She behave very egoism and cold. And she sleept with Spike. (Big Spuffy-fan 😀)

So in the end I loved the Cordelia/Xander relationship the most! Of course it was very mean of her that she wanted him to don't talk to anyone-else about their relationship! She made a lot of misscredits there for me! But in the end, she was there for Xander when he needed her and the other way around. Just remember this cute scene inwhich Xander bought her this expensive dress! I think she gave up everything to be with him. Her friends, her status at school! Then Xander cheated on her, Cordelia left him and that's the worst that could happen to him. It's his own fault.

I can't believe that Dander happened! I never read much of the comics so I didn;t know that happened until just now. I guess physically that the age gap isn't too bad, but although I have a lot of love for Dawn, I don't feel that she ever started to act her age.
Plus I seem to remember her becoming a giant :S

I'm not convinced that anybody is right for Xander or that he deserved any of his girlfriends. I feel that he just screws everything up. He screwed up with the love potion (even if that was Cordelia's fault 😡 ), he also screwed up by having his fling with Willow, he screwed up with how he treated Anya in 'Hells Bells'. I don't know if he screws up so much in the comics, but it wouldn't surprise me. (As you can see, I don't have much love for Xander 🙄 ) I know that everybody deserves a second chance, but I think Xander got a few too many

Ignoring his flaws, and pretending that I actually like Xander, as I used to, I think Anya deserved him the most. She had to change the way she'd been for over a 1000 for him 😱

I haven't read the comics, but Dander just makes me feel dirty. It so incestuous to me. They are like brother and sister. Ew.

Anya is definitely the best woman for Xander. My heart was broken when she died, I was hoping that they would get back together in season 7. I think they both loved each other deeply, but Xander is just lacks a spine when it comes to anyone but Buffy.
