Who misses Tru Calling?

I thought that it was a good show, and I was disappointed that it was canceled, especially with its totally inconclusive but sinister ending. Mostly, though, I felt bad for Eliza choosing to do it as opposed to a "Faith, The Vampire Slayer" spinoff. I understand that she did it to try and avoid the stigma of being typecast as Faith, but it still must have been a bad experience for her, especially the second season.

Oh, it's not even 2 seasons. It's one and 1/3 🙁 By the way, they shouldnt have canceled it like that. But I havent touched my Tru Calling DVDs for like 3 months now. 😛

Would have loved it to be a bit longer.

I could have lived without Jason Priestley character though.

I really wish it had continued. I think it's a wonderful show, and Eliza was great in it. It also just seemed to be going somewhere really interesting when it was cut. I wish we could have had more of the Mother-Tru, Father-Jack playoff. Plus, Lindsay was a great character.

I just really hope Dollhouse doesn't get cut off the way Tru Calling did.

I miss it!
My sister always wanted me to watch it with her because she got scared (She was 25).
I think we only got the first season in Australia. The cancelling of this show was totally inappropriate.

Why can't they jsut do a TV movie? and plus did Eliza ever give a response to the cancellation?

Ok don't shoot me but I don't really miss it. I watched it because it had Eliza and as a Buffy fan you tend to support the cast. It was 'ok' but nothing special and the quality (for me) was not really there compared to say Dollhouse.

There were some good characters, for me it was Harrison.

Hmmm, see, I didn't take to Harrison much. Different strokes, I suppose. He just tended to annoy me. And he walked like a cowboy that had found it's way into Saturday Night Fever.

I miss it all the time... but love the fact that you can still watch repeats of it, even now after all these years... although somenew episodes would be a lot better

Well it sure was a cool show, and I had a hard time coming to terms with its ending, which is THE suckiest ending I've ever seen : I just couldn't believe it when I first saw it, even though I knew the end would come pretty abruptly, that's just horrible. It was beginning to become more complex and interesting, with a real arc... Kind of like the Joss Whedon shows : the first season was a lot of standalone episodes and character developpment, but the second season showed premise for arcs and complexity. What a shame, really, what a shame. It could have become a very very good show.

But because it only sorta had that one season, the only memory I keep from it is like "Well, that was really entertaining". I think I'll buy the DVDs this summer though.

However, now I've come to grip with the way it ended, I don't really really miss it the way I miss Pushing Daisies by example, and that's because Tru Calling was cool and fun to watch but never had the time to bloom.

I never actually watched it, I wanted to see it because of Eliza being in it, but I have no clue what it was about. Don't even know if it would appeal to me. Though, I'd be interested to watch it.
