Who do you think Buffy Should End Up With and Why? (or if u think she's better of alone).

For Me Personally its Xander
I don't think she could ever have a long relationship with a vampire (due to the ageing) and Xander seems to be the only human guy who's stuck by her all this time.

If you like reading fanfic, I don't mind giving you Buffy/Xander recs.
I love reading Buffy/Xander fanfiction during S7 or after the show ended, both are in a good place in their lives, both have finally accepted their roles and who they are.

I think that I'd prefer Buffy to be with someone new. It seems that Xander and Willow are allowed to move on, but not Buffy. It breaks my heart. I'd love to see Buffy with a superpowered human, maybe a wizard. That would be interesting.

Yeah and im sure these would make great relationships but im talking like when the series finally ends i think Buffy should end up with Xander i feel like that he would be the best match for her.
As for fanfiction,i like reading them but only really selective ones as i find them to be quite like idk awkward at times but if its like really good fanfiction im sure to check them out.
 
I don't really CARE who she ends up with.... As they say, it's all about the journey. A thing isn't beautiful because it lasts.

That said, I hope that the series ends with Buffy either alone, or in a healthy relationship. And since all her romantic relationships so far have been unhealthy in some way, then the best case scenario is for Buffy to be with someone new, and not with any of her existing love interests.

But if I had to choose between Buffy's existing love interests, then the answer is obviously Satsu. She's by far the healthiest of Buffy's romantic relationships. The only problem is that Buffy isn't really gay...
(Or is she...?)

I don't know if I'd like Buffy/Xander... I love their friendship, and I loved their almost-romantic interactions in season 8, but a long-term relationship between them would suffer from a lack of romantic interest on Buffy's side... She just doesn't see Xander that way.
 
Actually, I don't think that Buffy will ever "end up" with anyone. Joss simply wouldn't allow it. On the other hand, if it were my series and my characters, I would have Buffy and Spike move to Pelucidar, where time literally doesn't exist (Read Edgar Rice Burroughs' "At The Earth's Core" series if you're interested, or simply take my word for it) They could share an eternity of love, happiness, and adventure such as few surface dwellers could ever imagine, and Spike could even get a sun tan.
 
Angel. All throughout the series, Buffy was still in love with Angel. Her cookie dough speech wasn't asking him to move but to wait for her. It just seems like the kind of thing where they can't be together throughout the run for whatever reason but when it ends once and for all is when they will finally end up together.
 
Spike. He's been with her the longest and they are currently enjoying a very healthy, happy relationship. They have a shared history, interests in common, they are in the same circle of friends, everything you're looking for in a good strong long term relationship.
 
I guess the feminist in me wants to believe that Buffy doesn't have to end up with anyone. I certainly don't think she should end up with Xander, because he's always been there for her since day one, or he's the "safe" choice because he's a human man and not supernatural..... love is love, love isn't settling with someone just because they're x or y.
 
I think she should be with Angel since he's her one true love or with someone new. Angel could finally become human at the end and be happy for once by being with Buffy. I do like how the show ended with her not ending up with anyone though because it's refreshing to not have everyone have to end up with someone at the end and the main character have to end up with someone.
 
Buffy should live in the equivalent of a hippie commune where she would have a number of sex partners. Her tendency to secrecy makes her a poor prospect for marriage or even a common-law "equivalent to marriage" relationship. She seems to like a cross section of what is available and one or more souled vampires could be part of the group. Her dalliance with Satsu proves that her relationships would not necessarily be heterosexual. Angel and Spike could be there but on the spectrum of soul mates, they are not suited as life partners as much as they are Buffy's kryptonite. As such, they could join the pool of available lovers but they would not be the best choice. The contrasting selections may be more interesting drama than relationship angst.

This ^^ As usual @GoSpuffy is right. Buffy doesn't have to look anywhere else, she's already in the perfect relationship
 
I've already made a post on this subject but since u guys gave such varying answers i thought a poll would be best.
 
All of the above plus a few new ones as well, so I voted "other". Buffy should have many lovers, so a hippie commune would be the best relationship model for her. I think she is bisexual (let's face it, Satsu meant something to her as most women do not have relations with both sexes), so there would be no gender barriers. My personal favourite for her would be Cluffy - that's right, Clem and Buffy. Fun-loving Clem would be just what Buffy needs - someone who has a sense of humour and fun and someone she had already trusted to take care of Dawn who could bring her out of her obsessive secrecy and help her enjoy life.
