Okay, so I noticed that I could never find a thread like this for Giles, but there are tons of these threads for almost all the other characters, and I said to myself, "Self, let's make a Giles thread..."😛
 
Jenny was pretty nice, but I never had the feeling I could trust her! (I was right!)
Joyce was a nice one, but she's gone!

I picked Olivia, and though we never saw much of her, she seemed like a very nice lady!
 
Olivia never made much sense to me. She was there for two episodes and that's it. I guess it showed that Giles had a life back in England, outside of Buffy and the scoobies, but we still didn't see much of her.

I always though Giles and Joyce getting together would be cool (although Buffy obviously disagrees), but since in the Buffyverse, no one is happy long, and I think it would have been really tramatic for Buffy to watch her mom and psuedo-dad split, as they would inevitably do.

So Jenny gets my vote. I like her. She kept secrets, but she still was a good person.
 
i voted other.. i've stumbled across more stuff like willoe/giles and buffy/giles so i'm stuck on them.
 
Nice thoughts, everybody. I'm a Jenny/Giles 'shipper myself, but "Earshot" did make me think about Joyce and Giles together. In the end, though, Jenny and Giles always have my vote.
 
i voted Joyce
cause Jenny was bad, i dont care which way you cut it, she was bad, she kept secrets and its her fault that my buffy and angel arent togetther now

so i voted Joyce cause of Band Candy and cause of Earshot because i cant imagine a time where watching Giles walk into a tree or just get flummoxxed will not be fun for me!
 
Jenny. It has to be Jenny. Joyce is dead and we didn't see much of Olivia.
Jenny did keep secrets but she had to. Shame they can never be together though. 🙁

I don't understand how it's Jenny's fault. She said she didn't know until afterwards what would happen. Even if she had warneed Buffy that they couldn't have sex, what would have been different? Buffy and Angel's awareness is pricisely what kept them apart, Jenny not telling them had no real impact. They knew all throughout season 3 what would happen and that's what kept them apart.

Joyce was the one that convinced Angel he should leave.
 
I chosed Jenny i thought they really went together even though she kept a BIG secret from him!tutut ::thumb::
 
Definitely Jenny! Too bad she's dead. At least she and Giles made amends with each other before it happened.
 
Why are we all so hard on Jenny for keeping secrets?

Buffy does this all the time. She keeps everything huge from the scoobies until she is found out.

I voted Jenny by the way, partly because she made Giles nervous, which was really cool to watch, and partly because she is HOT!

... Or am I showing my age?
