I was stuck between Joyce and Jenny...in the end it had to be Jenny...he truely loved her so much, he was willing to fight Angelus even though he knew that he'd lose...and maybe a part of him wanted that..wow that's depressing. Anyway it was tough because when you see Giles listening to the song from the episode Band Candy again just after Joyce dies you can see he's truely upset..and i think it shows he really did have feelings for her.. That's what i think lol!
 
To me Jenny will always be the one for Giles. They shared a great love, and it just hurt me when she died. And it hurt even more to see Giles react like he did.
 
Jenny Calendar simply becuase Giles loved her. Even though i wasn't a big fan of her Giles has a right to be happy! and i hated seeng him so upset! 🙁
 
I said the most obvious one Jenny Calender but also the most true I think if she didn't die in season two they would of got married and had lots of little Giles who would all clean there glasses and say "my lord" in order of who could do it the best and then there would be loads of competition between the mini Giles then they would start to read and drink tea and see who could cross refrence the best ............... Ok I have to stop before I hurt myself AGAIN lol but that would of been cool to see Giles like that in a sort of different light a married/father light lol.

It's such a shame that Giles never ended up with Ms. Right.. damn Whedon and his fetish for misery! But I voted for Jenny, even though I was vote-tied with Joyce. As for the handcuffs.. ? I knew it, I DID!

I can't believe Jenny is beating out Joyce 2 to 1! Poor Joyce! If only she hadn't been so pissed off all the time, they might have had half a chance.
Such a shame all Giles' women end up dead. Except Olivia, but she's irritating so I'm disregarding her.

It's not just that she was always pissed off, she was also always pissing off - me, at least. Even 50% of Jenny is too much... I don't want her with my Giles. (except when they're both high on Ethan's candy...)
 
angel and spike being on the list made me laugh.
i thought "band candy" was a great episode and giles and joyce were wonderfully awkward and cute after that, but it's jenny for me. i was heartbroken when jenny was killed--she was really cool, stunningly gorgeous, and just right for giles. i loved them together. some of my favourite scenes from season two are giles and jenny arguing over technology vs. books haha.
 
So, I chose Joyce.

Jenny is all "Computers! yay!"
And Giles is all "Books! yay!"
And Joyce is all "Art! yay!"

Although that does bring to mind the whole African demon summoning mask issue. . . hmm. It was a kind of a tough call for me. But I dunno. Maybe I thought that if Giles was with Joyce some of his dorky coolness would rub off on her? I dunno. I didn't dislike Joyce by any means. She just could have been cooler.
 
Jenny, most definitely.
I cried so hard when she died, I really wanted her and Giles to get married and have cute children. XD
 
I would have to say the Jenny/Giles relationship was the best. Joyce/Giles was amusing, but I don't think it could of lasted. Jenny and Giles were sweet, and I felt so bad when Angelus snapped her neck=(. That was so sad.
 
I never really liked Jenny and Giles. They didn't seem that realistic. Although Passion was a really sad episode, I think Joyce and Giles are better together.
