Who should Giles be with?

Anyway, I think Jenny was his true love. But the writers pretty much stopped that in its tracks. I don't like to think of Giles and Joyce together as a couple. But I do like fanfics about them hooking up post-Band Candy behind Buffy's back. Forbidden love is the most attractive. xD

But the love that Jenny and Giles had was sweet and definitely true.

As much as I love the thought of Buffy having her father figure (Giles) with her mother Joyce. I think he belonged with Jenny.

This. I think he and Jenny really did love each other and Giles was robbed of what could have potentially been a great life-long relationship.

Definitely Jenny. She was the only lady on the show that loved Giles for Giles: she knew his sordid past with Eyghon, that he had to kill his friend, and appreciated him for being so dedicated to his job and thought he was a "sexy fuddy-duddy." Olivia and Giles were both only attracted to Giles' Ripper persona. Jenny knew about it but was attracted and loved Giles as a person, not just the shallow "badass" persona.

Why Ethan?😕 There are no signs of any physical chemistry there and the whole thing just weirds me out.

Jenny is the obvious candidate for me. That scene in Passion is heartbreaking partly because of the connection Rupert and Jenny had.

Joyce and Giles was better as a short term thing for me. I liked how they went there though and it did provide some funny moments.

Olivia didn't make much of an impact on me as a character. She sort of faded into the background whenever she appeared.
