Who should join the Scooby Gang?

The members of the Scooby Gang have been replaced every now and then. And there were the original core four. But besides all of them, who should be made a Scooby Gang member? Could be any character ever, besides those who were already part of it at some time.

All the names that pop into my mind have been part of the Scoobies at one point or another!

I think that Kate from "Angel" would have been a useful addition to the team. Forget about the "After The Fall" character and just imagine a disillusioned, broken hearted ex-LA cop, taking a job as Assistant Chief Of Investigations in a sleepy little town like Sunnydale where she hoped that she could get away from all of the demons, vampires, and monsters. She could have brought a little modern technology and firepower into the game Just imagine Caleb taking a dozen or so .40 S&W hollow points to the chest. Let the sucker walk away from THAT!

And if you're talking Season 8 and beyond, I still think that she would be an asset, especially if there's gonna be firearms action against that bunch of rogue Slayers.

Question: Do we count Andrew as a Scooby or not? If not, he definitely should have been. Either way, I wish we saw him in more seasons as a scooby, though.

I would have loved to see a modified April (I was made to love you) become a part of the gang. I think that having her join the team instead of shutting down would have been an interesting bit, and she would have been very interesting. Think- a pretty, formal, china-doll like girl on the outside... but you tick her off and she can throw you through a window.

Also, I'm willing to bet she would come in handy on a non-fighting basis. She seems like as a perfect girlfriend, she would have to have a lot of domestic skills. She could be a babysitter for Dawn (might be comical, since April is probably naive enough to let Dawn talk her way out of the house), a good cook, and a housecleaner.

Honestly, I thought Nancy from "Beneath You" was going to become a Scooby. I remember thinking she was becoming integrated into the group during the course of the episode more so than other 1 episode characters. I was surprised not to see her back.

I will always say Jenny would have been an awesome addition to the core four. She was there practically from the beginning as well, would have had so much to offer with technology, and with guiding Willow when she was becoming a witch. I think it would been really good.

Jonathan. Being a scoobie would have helped him develop in the right direction instead of being lost on his own or having Warren as a leader. If we don't count Andrew as a scoobie I want to add him too. Not sure how helpful he'd be but I like him, ok?

I would think it would have been cool if Connor joined the Scoobies as a kind of junior fighter, but without Buffy and the gang (apart from Willow) knowing who he is. Buffy could take im under her wing and he could have had a more positive development (kind of a contrast to when he was with Angel). Obviously with canon as it is it's more of a 'what if,' but it would have been interesting to watch.
