Who thinks season 7 is the last?

Anthony Stewart Head said in a Interview that this is the last season of BTVS. Also SMG does not want to be known as Buffy anymore. But there is been talk about Dawn the Slayer. What do u think if BTVS will go on to a 8th season?
 
I think there will be a season 8 or at least i hope because Buffy is the best show and how can Dawn become a slayer? She isn't strong enough but she does have some moves.
 
I think they'll be a Season 8, even if SMG dosent sign on. Im sure Joss will find some original storyline to replace her (I think Dawn as a slayer would be too obvious.).
 
they might do a season 8 without buffy but personally i think they shouoldn't bother after all it is "buffy" the vampire slayer, so without buffy there's not much of a show really.
 
I don't really know, I really hope that Buffy has a couple of more seasons or something but Sarah and Tony and even Nick said that season 7 is the last... but you never know about these things, it could surprise you what will happen....
 
I didnt know Nick and Tony thought of leaving..If it ends up like that, then they'll pratically have to change the whole show! Hope it aint so..

If it is, lets just hope this season will be the most action-packed one yet..
 
I hope...but if they do make another season - without Giles, Anya, and Buffy - it wouldn't be much of a season.
 
Dawn the Vampire Slayer?...yeah, right.
if this is the last season, then so be it. yes, it will be sad to see it go. but it wont be the same without Buffy
 
I hope this is the last season, SMG doesnt want to do it anymore that to me equals no more show, no SMG no more show. I dont think I could handle Dawn the slayer.
 
I love the show but I want it to end good, and if SMG and other cast memebers don't want to carry on after s7 what's the point of it. It won't be the same and it'll be known as a great show that ended crap. Did you see the last episode of the X-Files, that was a great show and look how it turned out in the end. If Buffy finishes with a great last season the fans will be happy if it doesn't you'll feel dissapointed of what it could have been. That's what I think anyway.

Definitely - no SMG no decent show. I hope they finish on a high, and don't go the way the X-files went.
 
If SMG doesnt want to go on being Buffy in after Season 7 I don't think they should bother doing another season of Buffy. It just wouldn't be the same and I would really miss it. Especially Nick and James. They're my fave!!

Ditto! End it on a high note. It would really slide if for example they had 'Dawn The Vampire Slayer' why ruin a good thing. Its a foregon conclusion that it will go into sindication and run forever!
 
i would probably still watch, but if the title character is leaving the show, it really should end.

'dawn the vampire slayer'? NO. i'd rather watch 'xander the vampire slayer' or something.

heh. that could actually be pretty funny.
 
Hey folks,

I argee that BTVS should end on a high and not continue if the star isnt there but i see this is a good chance to give us something new like Joss and Tony Head finally getting round to filming "Ripper" or "Watcher" whatever they call it they should get onto it when BTVS is over.

Another possibilty i have heard whispered along with Faith and Dawn The Slayer is of a new spin off called Sunnydale. This would give the stars that want to move onto the big screen the chance to do so and those who wish to carry on can, in a new series with same mythology and history from the old show.

So..... if BTVS did end this season would you prefer

a) Dawn the Vampire Slayer
b) Faith the Vampire Slayer
c) Ripper or Watcher
d) Sunnydale
e) Nothing at all
f) something else not yet mentioned

I hope they stop, but I have a feeling they probably won't, and have Dawn as the slayer, so what about:

Dawn of a new era
