Question Who was the most dangerous villian? Caleb or Glory

Buffy couldn't beat either Glory OR Caleb in a stand up. toe to toe fight. To beat Glory required the use of Olaf's Hammer, and she used the scythe to beat Caleb. Undoubtedly, Glory was the physically stronger of the two, but the fight doesn't always go to the strongest fighter. I think that a match between Glory and Caleb would be a lot harder to call than a lot of people seem to think. Having said that, I would have to say that, in my opinion, Caleb would have a slight advantage, but not enough for an assured victory. It could go either way just as easily.

Boo to the scythe she was invulnerable. and while yes Caleb was in league with the creator of all evil, an endless supply of power, so to speak, how much power can one human consume?

Glory was more than that, she was the maximum amount of power that could be intertwined within this plain of existence. Or that's how Giles and the council described her anyways.

so Glory>>>everything.
except the first. because thats just not fair.

I kinda see it as The First>Glory>Illyria>Willow>Adam>Buffy>Angel>Spike and so on down the line.

I think Glory was superior in strenght, yes, but the most dangerous - nah. Essentially Glory was focused on Glory and nothing else which made her kind of narrow and dimwitted. I mean technically Buffy could have taken Dawn outta town and Glory's immediate threat to the world would have been thwarted (the sucking into a hell dimension thing) and Buffy could have figured out how to tackle the Ben/Glory drama later.

Caleb whoever felt that he was serving a 'higher purpose' and was a mere human willing to go to any lenghts to serve said purpose. Which I think makes him both more scary and dangerous because he wasn't focused on what was good for Caleb so much as whatever the First asked him to do. Even though he didn't want to die he knew that he was part of a machine that would keep rolling without him.
Which I think made him unpredictable, volatile and ultimately very very scary in a sense (though delightfully witty at the same time)
 
I would give Caleb a slight edge, I mean it is TFE powering him, Buffy's power was exponentially increased with the Scythe, much moreso than some silly troll hammer that holds no special significance to a slayer. Glory may have been a hellgod but if you ask me she had to fight too much to keep being Glory instead of Ben.

I think Twilight/super Buffy would wipe the floor with both of them though.
 
I think Glory is the most powerful. I guess if she wasn't going crazy with the Ben/Glory switch she would have defeated Buffy. Caleb was also very strong, but Buffy always finds a way with humans! But Glory is a hellgod...I think Buffy was extremely lucky everytime they met. She knew where the Key is, so she was safe.
 
They both have their weaknesses. Glory's is obviously Ben, a human other-half. Caleb's is his arrogance and that he's human and has to be re-charged (IIRC).

Hmm, this is a toughie. I might have to give it to Glory.

Wasn't it the hammer, The Dagon Sphere, and Willow doing that mojo which restored Tara's (and other people's, IIRC) cognitive function that did it?

The Judge can reduce humans to charcoal with a look, but not a "creature of pure evil", however that's defined. I'd assume Glory would qualify though, being a hellgod and all, so she could just ignore his gaze and tear him to pieces.

I'd expect Glory to kill Caleb in a fight. Her abilities seem to fluctuate a lot (probably depending on how badly she needs to eat some sanity at the time), but on average I think she's stronger than him, and faster for sure. She might even be able to suck his mind - he is still a human after all, albeit one imbued with supernatural strength.

The only creatures I'd say are more powerful than Glory in a direct fight (of the ones we've actually seen) are pre-Time Bomb Illyria (similarly strong, probably not as tough, but much more skilled and able to stop time, which is a ridiculously huge advantage), and maybe a fully powered Willow.

I think that Glory and Caleb is equal strength ...
I'm sure that Adam was strongest of all villiant !

Yeah, he nuked that one vampire because he read and he was going to do the same to Dru and Spike because of their affection for one another. He destroys beings with humanity in them. I guess if he saw that Ben was a part of Glory she could get nuked?
 
This is a hard choice for me. If we were talking about only the strength, obviously Glory would win. But Caleb was working with The First, who was able to slip on any "skin" from any dead person they wanted and could easily get inside and gather information if it really wanted to, as we saw in "Showtime". I think Caleb was probably a little more dangerous, since he was able to easily get inside knowledge of the workings of The Scoobies, and he also became pretty damn strong when he and the First merged, but Glory was definitely stronger and more dangerous as far as the physical fight.
