Who wears glasses?

I wear my glasses when I drive and watch tv and stuff. But for when I am drawing or reading I take them off because the frames get in my way.

I wear green contacts sometimes. Goes well with the red hair. But I can't seem to wear them a lot without them really bothering me. *shrug
 
Me. I'm buying new ones next week. A 2 glasses and a eye examination for the price of one.

I'm going to be happy the day I can get laser surgery, even though I do look better with glasses.
 
If I don't wear my glasses or contacts, I see nothing 😀 It's so weird to see everything completely blurry!

I mostly wear my contacts when I go out of my house, because with glasses, I only see clear in the small area of the glass, which means my vision is quite limited (if I look up, I need to look up with my glasses or I don't see anything). So I feel much more free without my glasses. The first time I went out with contacts, I was shocked to have such a wide vision of the world 😛 Plus with contacts, I can have heart-shaped glasses because I don't need to change the glass 😀

But glasses are nice when I'm too lazy to put contacts, perfect for doing nothing home or watching series late at night.

Some people live only with glasses or contacts, but as far as I'm concerned, they are both necessary.
 
I have terrible vision; I started wearing glasses when I was 9, contacts when I was 14. I have astigmatism so I started with hard contacts (anybody remember those?), then gas permeable (semi-rigid) for a long time. I finally graduated up to soft contacts for astigmatism a few years ago (& love them!). I do wear my glasses at night and in the morning, and sometimes if I'm just puttering around at home I just wear my glasses. I just got super-cheap glasses from Coastal Contacts. Like them on Facebook, they have great codes to get their cheapest glasses for free from time to time. But they're online, so it's hard to know whether they'll fit you or look good on you. Since I dont' wear them out & about that much, I didn't care very much.

I wear glasses, have done since I was about 13 -- I have my favourite frames so far, they're (fake) tortoise shell, with 50's style wing tips 😀
I love my glasses, and hate the way I look without them, so no contacts for me 😛

Edit: I'm short-sighted 😛
