I was curious to see who is going to watch Joss's new film, Cabin in the Woods. Is this something you're interested in as a Joss fan? Or are you going to give it a miss? I personally have seen nothing much about it at the moment but it's totally not what I expected from the glimpse of advert I have seen.

I'm totally going to see this. To be honest, if Joss wasn't writing and directing it, then I probably wouldn't go see it. The trailers look like the standard horror movie, personally. But I'm hoping Joss will give us something new. 😀

I'm going to go and see it. Not usually my kind of film but I'm hoping the dialogue will make it more than just another boring horror.

I'll watch it purely because of Joss' involvement. Haven't made my mind up if I'll go to the cineama or wait to get it for free when it comes out on disc

Hmmmm....finally just watched the trailer. It's weird but I don't even see a hint of Joss in it. Like LDB said it does look like a standard horror movie buuuutt I guess I would see it on dvd. At least one of the guys is cute, so good enough for me haha!!!😀 Kind of reminds me of Wrong Turn with Eliza Dushku.

I'm totally going to see it on opening night! I normally don't like these kinds of movies but Joss' involvement plus the fact that it has gotten rave reviews, makes me really excited for it. Then we have Avengers and Much Ado About Nothing to look forward to!

I don't watch horror movies, but I'll watch this one because of Joss.

And for those who say the trailer looks standard, the reviews say that the trailer itself is incredibly misleading and there are actually many unexpected twists. Reviews have been amazing so far.

Of course I'll be going, I love horror and its also out of loyalty. The trailers though make it look like some bad teen slasher film which I hope it is not the case!

I love slashers and would probably see it even if it weren't directed by Joss, but since it is, it just makes me that much more excited! 🙂

I love slashers too but watching this trailer doesn't make me very excited. I'll watch it, but only because I watch everything, it doesn't make a difference to me that Joss is involved.

I'll watch it, I like the genre (even if I feel a bit fed up with it) but I'm interested to see what Joss has created and since I generally enjoy his storytelling I'm hoping I'll enjoy this one too 🙂

(if I sat through See Jane Date for the sake of Charisma Carpenter I'll certainly make it through Cabin in the woods 😉)

It was awesome. The audience I was with loved every minute and I haven't come out of a theater where people were talking about how good the movie was as they walked out of the theater in a long time. Even non horror fans can appreciate it and I think it's some of the sharpest work Joss has done in a while. Very quotable movie too.
