Who Will Buffy End Up With? *Possible Spoilers*

i think it's gonna be willow for many reasons and many incidents that happened in season 8.

just wondering. someone know exactly?
 
I don't KNOW but I can take a shot that it'll be no-one.
Unless they bring Spike back (Please please Joss, do it. 😛)
I don't think she'll get with anyone; She's too busy adjusting to being the boss of so many slayers, I don't think she'll have time for a love life aswell. Especially with Willow, after all, they've been best friends for over seven years, it would be rather odd.
 
i agree with you. it would be so odd if it would be willow. bring spike or angel back pleaseeeee! i dont like spike in s6 but LOVE him when he got a soul.
 
I don't think it'll be Willow. For several reasons, but the most important one is friendship and from experience I know that romance stemming from a good friendship doesn't always go according to plan. Truthfully, I don't think we'll ever see who she ends up with as the stories can continue to go on forever without any closure on a relationship and I don't think it's that important at this point in the stories. From the tv series, her personal life always collided with her 'professional' one, i.e. Angel turned evil, killed her friends. Spike essientailly was evil, carried on a torrid affair with her and attempted to rape her and Riley and the whole Initiative thing. I think that's been done to death, pardon the pun. We may never get to see who she ends up with but we can always take solace in knowing she became who she was from her experiences with her past relationships. I just don't think there's an 'ultimately ended up with person' that's going to be revealed to us. To me, that's better but to some I'm sure it sucks.
 
I think Buffy's love interest of the season is Satsu, and that relationship seems to be already over. Now, who Buffy will end up with at the end of the series... was pretty much answered in the two final Buffyverse seasons, way I see it. Open-ended Angel/Buffy/Spike triangle. (Buffy Season 7: "I'm cookie dough" ; Angel Season 5: "Buffy loves you both, but she's gotta live her life").

Maybe Joss but I got a feeling he won´t tell. 😉

Willow would be surprising and even though Joss loves surprises I don´t see that happening. Maybe Xander but I doubt that too. If she ends up with Angel or Spike my money is on Angel.
 
I agree with Enisy ^ and think that the open-ended triangular relationship of Angel/Buffy/Spike will be still in play at 'the end'. I think it will be deliberatly left hazy and unclear and will keep us guessing and hypothesising for years to come....
 
I hope she ends up alone and miserable, she's at her best when she's alone and miserable
 
I don't think she will have another relationship. I'm not sure if there will be enough time in Season 8 or 9. Would be nice to see her on a date tough. Maybe with Satsu, so she can make sure that she can't fall for a girl. Maybe she's wrong about the not being gay thing. Or technically, not being bi-thing.
 
I doubt she will ever offically end up with someone. Knowing Joss, he will keep it open like he always does. She will be able to end up with whoever you want her to.
 
The Willow thing has been a lot on my mind lately, too. So many things this season have seemed to indicate Willow has something for Buffy but I couldn't say what it is, but some of the not-so-subtle anvils dropped about it seemed to say that she's got some feelings she's keeping to herself.

But the best friendship to lovers thing doesn't usually translate well in life. And that's just one more thing Buffy doesn't need right now, another somebody who loves her and can't be with her, for whatever reason. I think if she has another relationship where somebody either dies or breaks it off with her because they can't deal with her strength or her Slayer-ness, Buffy's just gonna esplode.

I could totally see Buffy seeing Spike alive again, or seeing Angel human, and after the initial shock, just being very confused about her feelings and avoiding both of them.

There was a point I kinda thought Buffy and Xander might hook up... but again with the best friends thing. Plus, she thinks of him as "little brother". Eh...

And Riley... well, he works for the forces of evil now. Uh, well, at least Buffy would call it that way, if she knew. And hey, it might actually be true yet. But he made it really clear he just couldn't deal with her being, well, just herself, and he walked. So, I can see no Riley in Buffy's future.

In fact... I just don't see anyone in her future, because I think Buffy's just more or less given up. All she does is Slay. All day, eat, drink, think, sleep: slay. Girl's got no time for hugs and kisses and walks through the park holding hands. Sex? Yeah, but relationships, no way.

That's my story and I'm stickin' to it. :whistle:
 
I really don't think it's gonna be Willow and I'd be very disappointed in that sort of ending. Willow and Buffy have to stay best friends, forever. "Have I ever told you about my best friend ?"... No, it can't be happening. Plus, I'm all for the experimenting and everything, and I'm as un-homophobic as the next gay guy, but I really don't see Buffy ending up with a girl. That girl just loves guys, it's just like this. With girls, she just "thinks of it, blushes" and moves on... No, I don't see Buffy in a durable gay relationship. It just doesn't work - to me.

With Xander... Hmmm... I'm kinda rooting for him to get with Dawn. With Buffy... Nah. Too much "big brother" thing going on. It would be weird. I kinda thought of it at the beginning of the season, but now that there's this Dander thingy, I like it much better.

Okay, please let my post not turn this into yet another Spike/Angel fight, but I really think that in the end, Buffy should end up with... Angel. Like it or not, he's her first love... I think it would be a nice thing, kind of "finishing the loop" if you may. Buffy would start and end with Bangel... But I think Joss will never dare, or all the Spuffy fans will turn on him. Sad, really.

There's been a few moments in the comics, with Willow and Satsu, Willow and Buffy, and Kennedy and Buffy, where the story went to a place.

I feel like Willow and Buffy are probably an epic friendship, when it comes down to it. I mean, only your best friend in the whole wide world would put you out of your misery after you'd been alive for 200 years.

As to whether it would go further? I don't know but an educated guess says nope.
 
I think that Buffy, over the length of her career, will continue to share her bed on occasion, either in the course of romance, lonliness, or just plain lust. It's normal, especially for someone who may be dead before the next sun comes up. But as for the final, absolute, long haul guy, I don't think that we've been introduced to him as of yet, and we may never be. I do like to believe that he's out there somewhere, though.
 
Willow? Uh, I must be really behind because...has this been suggested? That there is something between...them? Because that would be rather bizarre.

I would be delighted if they brought Spike back. Him and Buffy make a great team. Although, I don't believe he's the "long haul" guy. They make great, close friends. They've been through a lot together. I wish Joss would bring him back, or at least let Buffy know he's alive...

Buffy and Willow together would be way lame. Joss is a good enough writer that I can't see him saying, "hmmm, why don't I make Buffy a lesbian too so she and Willow can be together?"

Don't lose hope!

Willow-that'd be just stupid. Forget about the lesbian thing (which will also be stupid turning Buffy into one all of a sudden), Willow is Buffy's best friend. If she were a guy it would be the same thing. Xander is a good example for it, he's Buffy's friend. It cannot be more than that, especially now, after all this time and everything they've been through. I trust Joss, I do. But I'm afraid he'll do something stupid.
