Even though my opinion is irrelevent(cos s9 is balls) il say Xander, Buffy and Dawn will die in a car crash.
 
If someone HAS to die this season, almost certainly it won't be Buffy, Spike, Faith, or Angel, since they are the two series' main characters (notice, i said ALMOST certainly. We can't rule anything out with Joss) especially since all four have already done the "die and come back" thing once, if you count Faith's coma. And we know that Dark Willow is still alive during Fray's time. That leaves Xander, Dawn, and Andrew who have never died so far. Assuming that Season 9 has to end with a funeral, I would put my money on one or more of them.

Then again, maybe Joss will (seemingly) kill everybody, and Season 10 will open with all of the characters scattered about in another dimension, and the only way to escape is to somehow find each other and fight their way out.

Oh white avenger! You always have the coolest scenarios with the future of Buffy. I guess anything can really go on as to who will die next. The show isn't on air after all. I do agree though. Buffy, Angel, Faith, Spike, definitely wouldn't be them. Suck having main characters go bye bye. There would be no more interesting season left.


When was there a season where no one died at the end?
 
I see the possibility of Dawn and Xander taking Buffy's baby at the end of the season and moving somewhere to try and give it and themselves a normal life. Buffy will let them go out of love and to protect the people she loves. Once again having to make the ultimate sacrifice.
 
Xander. As others have said, he has been rather useless. The only thing he has been good at was giving Buffy a couch to sleep on. I am not a huge fan of Xander, but if the baby is his then I would like for him to stay. But if it is not, I am fine with him leaving.

BtVS was actually better with this than AtS. Think about it: main characters. No main character deaths in season 1. None in season 3 (although 1 in a coma, and 2 left). None in 4 (although 1 left). So, 3 outta 7 ain't bad. 😀 Plus the four core were alive at the end of Chosen. You can't say that about AtS!
 
Maybe, instead of anyone dying, Twilight will come back and abduct Dawn and Connor to be the Adam and Eve in its new universe. Since both Dawn and Connor could be considered magical copies of Buffy and Angel, respectively, using them should work the same way that Buffy jumping off of the tower in Season 5 saved Dawn.
 
It should be Dawn, but I know it won't be.
At this point, I've stopped following the comics anyway. I have my own versions of seasons 8 and 9, and I'm sticking with them.
But for the sake of contributing, I think the next character to die will be either Kennedy or Andrew.
 
I have a strong feeling it's Andrew's turn next....or even Kennedy. I'd be happy with either.

it will never be Dawn, as much as I'd LOVE for that to happen.
